An Inspired Chat with Tre’ Amazing of Buckhead

Tre’ Amazing shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Tre’, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What battle are you avoiding?
The battle I am fighting is the desire to quit. By “quit,” I mean surrendering entirely—releasing every effort and ambition for a better life. It is the temptation to settle, to accept a status quo existence, to resign oneself to mediocrity. Pursuing a life greater than “good enough” comes with costs far higher than I sometimes imagined, demanding sacrifices I did not anticipate. Yet this battle is one I will continue to face with resolve. Giving up is not an option. It cannot be an option.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tre’ Amazing. I am Atlanta’s Dating Commentator and a rising filmmaker with over a decade of experience exploring the world of dating and relationships. I am the founder of RING|SIDE, a private, exclusive community of outspoken, over-the-top, and opinionated men and women. Since 2009, our members have gathered to debate topics central to singlehood, dating, marriage, sex, and kink/fetish culture.

In 2021, I launched the RING|SIDE YouTube channel, inspired by DJ Vlad, to provide a platform for Atlanta’s up-and-coming and established influencers to share their most candid insights on dating and relationships. My work blends commentary, storytelling, and cultural critique, offering audiences a raw and authentic look into the modern dating landscape.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before realizing my passion and zeal for the genre of dating and relationships, I was a devoted public health communications contractor.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering has taught me to assess my faith—both my faith in God and my faith in myself. It has shown me the invaluable importance of family and genuine friendships. Having a strong support system during life’s darkest moments is essential to maintaining one’s well-being and quality of life.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
One important truth that very few people agree with me on is that men can be faithful. There are in fact grown-ass, mature, level-headed and emotionally intelligent men out here who can be faithful to one woman.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel the most at peace when me and my girl are in bed with our two german shepherds watching Family Guy, The Office or The Big Bang Theory.
