Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Tiffiney Willis of Auburn

We recently had the chance to connect with Tiffiney Willis and have shared our conversation below.

Tiffiney , a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I’m most proud of building ME! People don’t see what you’re battling within yourself. Life can be exhausting sometimes and you will have mental breakdowns. I build myself up behind closed doors with a lot of prayer and affirmations. I don’t like to put my mental, emotional and physical health on display for everyone.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tiffiney Willis and I’m the owner of Sips by Tip Mobile Bartending Llc.

Sips by Tip Mobile Bartending Services LLC is a Dry Hire Mobile Beverage Catering Service. We’re one of Alabama’s leading certified and insured beverage caterers. We offer bar services and premium hospitality. Each staff member is TAM certified. Our services include social events, life celebrations, private parties, weddings, etc. We will create a customized experience for each of our clients based on their needs. We offer Creativity with a smile and professionalism.

Our mission is to create an experience that leaves a lasting impression. We aim to provide a professional and fun time.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I decided along time ago that no one can tell me who I had to be or who I need to be! I’m simply, unapologetically me and I’m grateful for who I am. My experiences molded me for any and everything.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There’s been many times I’ve wanted to give up, especially on my business. Being in a small town, the support is minimal. Every time I think about quitting, God intervenes and shows me why giving up isn’t apart of the story that he has written for me. I recently celebrated my fifth year anniversary of being in business, therefore I know giving up isn’t an option.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version is definitely the real me! I always tell people, what you see, is what you get! I honestly don’t know how to be anyone else.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
I definitely could give everything my best even if no one praised me for it. I do that now. We are in a world where people don’t clap for you out loud but yet they watch you just to mimic you. I praise myself for the ability to stay focused on what’s important.
