Story & Lesson Highlights with Sarah Rosenberg of Buckhead

We recently had the chance to connect with Sarah Rosenberg and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Sarah, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?

I absolutely love creating my own floral arrangements! After taking several classes, I’ve discovered how fulfilling this art form can be. It’s a wonderful way to express my creativity and bring the beauty of nature into my home. I especially enjoy working with a variety of flowers. Each arrangement feels like a unique!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Sarah Rosenberg, and I am a licensed aesthetician in the state of Georgia. Additionally, I hold licenses in phlebotomy and laser treatments. My business model focuses on delivering results-driven treatments, ensuring that every client who walks through my door leaves 100% satisfied with the services they receive. Prior to entering the beauty industry, I gained valuable experience working with various hair companies, which helped shape my passion for helping others look and feel their best.

Let me know if you’d like any further adjustments!

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My former boss, Michael, recognized my potential early in my career, and I frequently reflect on the constructive criticism he offered. His insights often pointed out obstacles I hadn’t seen myself, helping me to overcome them and grow. I truly appreciate the role he played in my development, as his guidance has shaped the professional I am today..

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?

I wish I could emphasize the importance of resisting societal pressures, as they rarely lead to genuine happiness. It’s essential to listen to your intuition and take pride in the various roles you play in life—be it as a friend, sister, or daughter. Embracing your true self and the work you do is what ultimately brings fulfillment and joy.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
While we aim to raise skin awareness, we often exacerbate the issue by flooding the market with numerous products that many consumers don’t need or don’t know how to use correctly. This can lead to confusion and ineffective routines rather than promoting genuine skin health.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I genuinely believe I’m fulfilling my purpose by helping people feel their best. I’ve always had a knack for connecting with others, and my passion for the beauty industry drives me. It’s a fascinating and complex field, and I love being a part of it!
