An Inspired Chat with SiStar Mimi of Buckhead

We’re looking forward to introducing you to SiStar Mimi. Check out our conversation below.

SiStar, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
The moment I stop obsessing over yesterday or stressing about tomorrow, I find myself. Being present, pursuing my goals, doing what lights me up, is where my soul feels timeless.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is SiStar Mimi, and I’m a Quantum Healing Therapist based in Atlanta. I help people release emotional trauma and stuck energy that’s been weighing them down so they can finally feel light, free, and aligned with their true selves. My work blends ancient wisdom, crystals, and magnetics to shift energy in the body and auric field. What makes my brand unique is that I’ve lived this journey myself, I created my healing system out of my own transformation. Clients consistently tell me they leave our sessions feeling lighter, like a burden has finally been lifted. That’s the part I love most- watching people step into peace and power they didn’t think was possible.

Right now, I’m expanding my reach, from working one-on-one in my Buckhead office to sharing my voice through interviews, workshops, and digital offerings so more people can access healing and knowledge no matter where they are. At the core, my brand is about turning pain into purpose and helping others remember that their energy is their superpower.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I used to believe I had to earn love by pleasing others. Now I know my worth is unconditional, I don’t perform for belonging anymore.

As a child I believed I had to earn love by people-pleasing just to be acceptance. I grew up in a string of unstable households. I always felt like I didn’t belong or like I was a burden. So I learned to shrink, perform, and chase approval to keep the peace and feel seen. Today I don’t carry that anymore. Through healing work, boundary practice, and taking up space loudly, I now know my worth isn’t conditional. Love isn’t something I must hustle for, it’s my birthright.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering gave me contrast and compassion. It taught me to value abundance and meet others without judgment. Struggle showed me what lack feels like, and because of that, I now carry a deep appreciation for every bit of abundance that enters my life. But beyond that, it softened me. It taught me not to judge other people’s journeys, because you never know what someone is carrying behind closed doors. Success can make you proud, but suffering makes you humble, grateful, and non-judgmental.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes! The public me is the real me. Authenticity is my dominant frequency, my medicine and my biggest challenge. It is how I show others that it’s safe to be themselves.

My spiritual journey taught me that authenticity is the high frequency next to the Most High. Operating in authenticity is non-negotiable for my work. I’m not your average spiritual advisor or healer. I hang out at cigar bars, listen to trap music, and vibe with people from all walks of life. My authenticity allows me to attract and connect with people from all backgrounds and my audience doesn’t fear judgment with me. That energy creates space for real transformation.

Authenticity is both my biggest reward and my biggest challenge. Society may still expect healers to fit a cookie-cutter ‘pious’ image, but I’m here to remind everyone: I’m spiritual being, having a human experience. The most spiritual thing we can do is “live life” full & free. God created each of us unique for a reason every quirk, every passion, every vibe is intentional. When we embrace who we are instead of trying to fit someone else’s idea of “perfect,” we step into our purpose and allow our energy to serve the world in ways only we can. Healing doesn’t come in a costume, it comes from energy, integrity, truth, and the courage to be exactly who God made you to be.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
True spirituality isn’t just awakening and ascending, it’s descending back to Earth and living that wisdom with purpose.

What I understand deeply is what most people miss! It is that the true spiritual walk isn’t about floating off into some eternal awakening and ascending straight to God. That’s only half the story. The real work is descending back to Earth with that new knowledge, bringing heaven into human consciousness and integrating the understanding with purpose. Anybody can chase the light, but real mastery is grounding it, living it, and using it to serve in the messy, everyday world in a fun practical way.
