Let’s jump in: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first minutes of My day consist of waking up saying a quick prayer Asking for guidance and covering over Me and My family.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Kevina Love, a singer and songwriter rooted in a rich heritage of gospel music. My journey hasn’t been easy—I’ve faced some of life’s hardest storms, including the loss of my son—but my faith has always carried me through. Every song I write comes from that place of healing and hope. Through my music, I want people to feel God’s love and remember that no matter what they face, there’s always light on the other side.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was a little girl who simply loved to sing and feel close to God through music. I didn’t worry about image or approval—I just wanted to make people smile and feel something real. Over time, life tried to shape me into many things, but I’ve found my way back to that same little girl—pure, passionate, and connected to purpose through faith and song.
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
One of the deepest wounds of my life was losing my son in 2013. That pain changed me forever, but it also brought me closer to God in a way I never imagined. Healing hasn’t been easy—it’s been a daily walk of faith, prayer, and surrender. Through that process, I’ve learned that even in heartbreak, God can create something beautiful. My music became my healing—it’s where I pour my tears, my praise, and my hope, trusting that others will find comfort through it too.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what matters most to me is faith, family, and spreading love through everything I do. They know my heart is to serve others—whether through music, encouragement, or simply being there when someone needs prayer. I believe life is about touching hearts and leaving people feeling seen, loved, and reminded of God’s goodness.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think some people may misunderstand my legacy as being just about music, when really, it’s about ministry. The songs are only part of it—what I truly want to leave behind is love, faith, and healing. My journey hasn’t been perfect, but every trial has taught me to trust God more deeply. My legacy isn’t about fame or recognition; it’s about using my voice to help others find hope and strength in theirs.
