Stacey, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day begin with prayer and listening to daily meditation or inspirational videos. I take that quiet time to thank God for a new day and set my intentions. After that, I get ready to head out and make the day productive and positive.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Dr. Stacey Garel, I am the CEO of Gifted Administrative Services, and a Natural born Prophetess specializing in spiritual healing & Growth through my company Yourspiritualgoddess.com. In 2025, I was honored with an honorary doctorate in Business Administration and Leadership from Kennedy University of Baptist, recognizing my dedication to leadership, service, and professional excellence.
Alongside my work in business development, I am a certified Event Manager with over 15 years of experience in Corporate Event Management and Tradeshows. Throughout my career, I’ve managed thousands of national events and conferences for Fortune 500 companies, always striving to deliver exceptional brand experiences. Some of my most notable work includes serving as an Event Planner for the 2012 Democratic National Convention and the 2013 Super Bowl.
My passion for marketing, branding, and technology fuels my creative approach and leadership in every project I take on. I am also a nine-time Amazon bestselling author, best known for my book Peeling Off The Layers To Unmask New Beginnings, which has inspired readers across the country.
In recent years, I’ve been humbled to receive several honors, including a RICE Award nomination as Founder’s Rising Star, the Outstanding Citizen Award from the State of Georgia, and a 2025 resolution from the State of Georgia recognizing my achievements as the first Atlanta native to reach bestseller status within three days of my book release, as well as my service to the community.
Beyond my professional accomplishments, I am an active motivational speaker, community advocate, and leader committed to empowering others. Looking ahead, I am proud to share that in 2026, I will be running for Georgia State Representative for District 91, continuing my mission to create meaningful impact, uplift communities, and lead with purpose.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I used to believe that I had to play small and not ask for too much. I no longer believe that. Today, I’m not afraid to go after what I want, and I fully embrace that it’s okay to want more for myself. I’ve learned to lead boldly and to lead with God guiding every step.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me something success never could that every struggle has the power to build character and shape a stronger version of me. Through those hardships, I learned how to face obstacles head-on, embrace them as part of my growth, and develop the wisdom to remove or overcome them. Those lessons created strength that success alone could never teach.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what really matters to me is loyalty, honesty, and having great conversations filled with positivity. Those are the things that keep my relationships grounded, uplifting, and meaningful.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
understand, on a deep level, how to connect spiritually with God in a way that brings clarity and insight many people may not experience. Through prayer, discernment, and reflection, I often gain a sense of direction about what’s ahead an intuition that helps guide my decisions and prepare for future possibilities.
