Hi Terrell, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The Spread Love Initiative Incorporated started with a tragedy of losing a loved one to gun violence. This epidemic of losing individuals to gun violence has touched all communities and the mothers who have lost their children to gun violence have had the heaviest void to fill. Recognizing that some of these mothers are soon forgotten when the cameras go off and time goes by , we wanted to honor these mothers for being brave and let them know that they’re still loved and not forgotten on Mother’s Day.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Although the road has not been smooth, it has been a beautiful outcome for those mothers who have experienced the annual Mother’s Day brunch. One of the complications that is experienced is actually having some mothers come out on this day when they are mourning.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am proud to say that I am a naval veteran with 11 years of active duty services. Being a naval veteran has shaped my professionalism fueled my enthusiasm and engraved amazing core values that I use on a daily basis. Outside of being the president and founder of the Spread Love Initiative Incorporated, I am an advocate for our veterans who served in the US military. I have A passion for music so love to DJ and play instruments on a professional level.

What does success mean to you?
Success is completing tasks, missions or goals, whether they are long-term or short-term with a level of excellence even if the outcome is not what is always expected.
