Check Out Londa Adams’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Londa Adams.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey started with creativity. One day I began writing on a popular storytelling app, and my first chapter unexpectedly took off. That experience eventually led me to becoming a published author in 2019 with my first book, Relinquish or Reposition.

I later joined Toastmasters in Atlanta to strengthen my speaking and presentation skills. That journey took me from club meetings to speaking at the Atlanta Women’s Expo, appearing on radio shows, and eventually becoming a membership officer. With my background in marketing, I also helped grow our club through creative promotional materials.

That opened another door when a member asked me to manage social media for her talk show. From there, I worked with content creators, financial advisers, mompreneurs, and entrepreneurs before eventually forming my own social media marketing LLC.

I’ve spent years balancing entrepreneurship, motherhood, and leadership in the workplace. Now I’m embracing a new chapter where ambition is still part of me, but so are family, love, self care, and creating a softer life. I’m learning that sometimes leveling up is not about doing more. It’s about becoming more intentional about what matters.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not always been a smooth road. Motherhood has been one of my greatest blessings, but also one of my greatest teachers. There were seasons when I was experiencing postpartum emotions without having the words or understanding to recognize what I was going through. Still, I continued showing up for my children, my career, my dreams, and the people who depended on me.

Another challenge has been overcoming self doubt and learning to trust my own decisions. Past experiences can sometimes make you question yourself or wonder if the life you envisioned is still possible. I’ve had to learn how to hold onto my desire for marriage, family, and partnership without allowing hope deferred to keep me from appreciating the life I have right now.

I’m learning that life does not have to look exactly how I pictured it to still be beautiful and meaningful. Whether my next chapter includes marriage or another season of being single, I want to be present for it. Most importantly, I want my children to see a woman who kept growing, creating, loving, and becoming, even during the seasons when she didn’t have all the answers.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Professionally, I would describe myself as a creative, marketer, and leader. I spent five years building my social media marketing business, where I helped entrepreneurs, content creators, and professionals bring their ideas to life through content, branding, and social media strategy. What I loved most was being able to take someone’s vision and create something that actually felt like them.

My leadership skills have also followed me into my professional career at CLEAR ATL, where I have taken on leadership and management responsibilities in a fast paced airport environment. Working with different personalities, developing others, driving results, and still creating a positive experience for travelers has challenged me in a completely different way.

I think what sets me apart is that I am not just one thing. I can create the flyer, develop the strategy, speak in front of the room, lead the team, and connect with the person standing in front of me. I’m most proud that every chapter of my career has required me to grow while still allowing me to bring creativity and leadership with me.

At this stage of my life, I’m learning that success does not always mean choosing one title. Sometimes it is recognizing how everything you have done has prepared you for whatever comes next.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I was born in California, but Atlanta has been home since I was three years old, so in many ways this city raised me. What I love most about Atlanta is that there is always something growing, changing, and evolving. There are so many opportunities here for creatives, entrepreneurs, professionals, and people who simply have an idea and are willing to pursue it. I’ve been able to witness Atlanta grow while also growing alongside it.

Ironically, what I like least is probably connected to what I love most. There is so much opportunity and such a constant drive to grow that sometimes you can become so focused on what’s next that you forget to enjoy what’s already here. I’ve definitely experienced that myself. These days, I’m learning to slow down a little more, explore my city, appreciate how far I’ve come, and actually enjoy the life I’ve spent so much time building.
