Daily Inspiration: Meet Yanni Brown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yanni Brown.

Hi Yanni, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey began selling adult novelty toys. I was a new mom and needed additional income. It was also something that came second nature to me. I’ve always been a lover of love. What I discovered once I dipped my toe into the adult novelty industry was that there were so many women who were missing what understanding, knowing and owning there pleasure looked like. This sent me down a rabbit hole of education, certifications and sharing of women’s stories. It became more than just selling a toy and more about the passion of women embracing loving themselves, being open to loving others and understanding the passion and power in Making’ Love Better TwoGether.

It is in Making Love Better TwoGether where we have curated speaking events, workshops for women and couples I am passionately, dedicated to empowering women through “Self Love” , OWNING their pleasure through education and awareness. Our offerings include but are not limited too; Self love, the art intimacy and sensual awakening workshops.

My style and presentation is simply honest, engaging, encouraging, informative and energetic.

I am determined to create real safe spaces to be vulnerable, while having sex positive, self loving, peeling back the layers of self care, sensual and sexual awakening when it comes to love, intimacy, sex and so much more!

I was once told by Iyanla Vanzant that
“When you heal one woman you heal all women!” (FIX MY LIFE) So when I’m asked what’s love got to do with it? My answer without hesitation “ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!”

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Any business has its fair share of obstacles and challenges. Ours is getting people to understand and appreciate the benefits of self love and their relationships along with the work involved. Getting them to connect is sometimes the challenge but it is also an opportunity.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Relationship and Intimacy Educator dedicated to helping women reconnect with the most important relationship they’ll ever have—the one with themselves. Through this work I am honored to empower women to embrace self-love as the foundation for healthy relationships, personal growth, purpose, and fulfillment.

It is my belief that when a woman truly honors herself, every area of her life has the opportunity to bloom and flourish.

I am most proud of the work that we do when it comes to helping women and couples connect the dots to love.

I am most known from my appearance on the OWN Network, “Iyanla’s Fix My Life”. with a group of bloggers know as the Six Brown Chicks.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Taking risks is something that we do daily! Truthfully life is “lifeing” for many of us. We are having to navigate spaces and situations that are unfamiliar, scary and uncertain but in those spaces I can remember one of the many lessons taught by my mom. She told me on many occasions “There are 24 hours in a day. Some days you make it through all 24 with ease. Other days you take it hour by hour… and on the hardest days, minute by minute.”

It’s a reminder that progress or even success doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to continue.This work is not always rewarding financially but it is fulfilling work.
