Hi C H R I S , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
A music prodigy at a young age of 11, and had started djing just shortly after that. My older brother was a big influence; he was a nightlife promoter for one of Toronto’s renowned clubs, “Guvernment”.

After a few years of learning other instruments like piano, guitar, and dancing, I took my boundaries to producing and DJing professionally.

High school dropout and fully engaged in the Toronto Local Artist community of rising DJs and producers, this was around 2019. COVID hits, and everything is at a halt!

2022 begins, and a new rise of stars like John Summit, Mau P, and Cassian. Take influence on my more recent works.

Garnered a sound for myself that distinctly separates me from the other artists. My ethnic background is Persian / Indigenous, so for me, I must leave a legacy behind for my daughter, who is yet to be brought to this crazy new world

I’ve signed many of my own works to different labels across the globe. As well, I have been supported by artists like WILL SPARKS, MOTi, KSHMR, BASSJACKERS, and LAIDBACK LUKE.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The struggles were mostly gaining engagement online, being consistent, and being persistent. With every no I took, i knew there was a yes.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am DJ / Recording Artist & audio engineer from Toronto, Canada. Born and raised with an Indigenous and Iranian background.

I am soon to be a father within the next month and very proud of my recent release, “Firestarter”. I have been DJing and producing since I was 12.

I took to my aspirations to be a renowned DJ and Recording artist worldwide for the love of music and hope to bring people together and enjoy a good time. As well as to build a record label and brand designated for the sole purpose of electronic music, being gritty and luxurious for the dance floors and love of house music

Who else deserves credit in your story?
I have a few mentors who have helped me along this amazing journey. Not just as a DJ, but as an audio engineer and producer.

Jeff Wright is a renowned audio expert at Trebas Ins. Who had helped me with a better understanding of audio and technology in sound and production.

Bailey Fen is one of the main mentors and a good friend who helped me learn how to DJ

LaidbackLuke is a worldwide sensation as a Father, DJ, and producer. well as an athlete! Supported a few tracks along the early come-up of my career.
4.
Will Sparks, DJ / Producer as well as a label head of “CLUBWRK,” supported a track of mine called “Lullaby,” charting on Beatport as #4 in the deep house category.
