Life & Work with Baby Keefe of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Baby Keefe.

Hi Baby, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story started not when I was born but the moment I realized I was alive. 9 years old my first year in ATL I was attacked by a dog and almost lost my arm. That moment taught me that I am not untouchable and I that was my first realization of life. The next closest moment to feeling that was music. Started my music journey with my 2 brothers , I am also in a group called Rich Soul. I was molded into superstar since I was a teenager. 3 swords were sharpened , in 2022 my brother passed away and I had another realization. Realization that life is fragile and we’re on borrowed time. I began my journey as a solo artist and moving with even more purpose. This new solo journey i’ve embarked on has me motivated more than ever before.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No , it has not been a smooth road. We’re talking being a artist over the past 5 years ? Music is not respected anymore, independent artist are being robbing everyday by the industry and wanna be industry pushers. I like to call them culture vultures. I’ve experienced possibly every bad experience you can think of to losing money from scammers, thinking people have your best interest at heart, this industry is not built for the weak.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a music artist , actor , content creator, event curator and creative director. I specialize in it all ! I’m known for mainly music, being a content creator and events. I proud of it all ! I stand out from others cause I create unique experiences in everything I do from music experience , event experiences and my content.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Mentorship is one of the most essential assets you can have. Imagine not having to make too many mistakes cause you were able to avoid alot of distress due you having a mentor who’s been there before. Their job is to help guide you to where you want to go. Networking is literally utilizing every single key contact you made and not sit on it. I’ve been consistently spending days and nights in important rooms I’m suppose to be. You have to know you’re just as important as the people you’re meeting, if you dont they wont treat you like you are.
