Hidden Gems: Meet Tsa-Hye Cloud of Experior Financial Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tsa-Hye Cloud.

Hi Tsa-Hye , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised right here in Atlanta, Georgia. I grew up primarily in Southwest Atlanta, also known as the S.W.A.T.S. Growing up in this part of Atlanta taught me quite a few things, but the lessons that stood out the most were to always bet on myself, be resourceful, and maintain a go getter mentality.

I have been working in service and sales based businesses since I was sixteen years old. I have always had an affinity for business and helping others. Even while I was in school, I was a hard worker and always wanted more for my life.

I remember nearing my high school graduation when my aunt asked me, “What do you want to do with your life?” That was a big question because, ultimately, at seventeen or eighteen years old, you barely know what you want to eat for dinner.

I responded by telling her that I knew I wanted to work for myself by the time I was forty years old. My aunt laughed and responded, “Is that how you think this works?”

I always think back to that conversation because when the days get hard in my business, I remember what I said that day. I was already sure. I knew there was something bigger for me.

My career started in sales when I was sixteen years old. I went on to work for some of the largest companies, where I gained and sharpened my skills. I learned sales, leadership, communication, and team building. Those experiences played a major role in shaping the entrepreneur I would eventually become.

By the time I reached my thirties, I was burned out. I was over it. I had gone through several significant life changes in my early thirties, and those experiences led me to wanting something different.

Then I remembered what I had said to my aunt years earlier.

Looking back, I realize that so many people could already see entrepreneurship in me when I was in my twenties. Opportunities continued to come my way, but I was afraid that I would fail.

Eventually, I realized that none of that really mattered. Life is full of trial and error. Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn, and eventually you learn how to fail forward.

So, at thirty six years old, I decided to go for it.

I started a small hospitality management company here in Atlanta, working with people who owned short term rental properties. I loved being in that space and learning the business from the ground up. It was a great experience, but eventually I realized that I wanted more for myself. I also missed being in the sales space and, most importantly, I missed connecting with people.

That is when I decided to get licensed in life insurance and become a broker.

Looking back, it has been one of the single best decisions I have ever made.

I love being in the financial services industry because I get the opportunity to educate people about how money works, how to grow it, how to protect it, and how to create a legacy for the people they love.

For me, this business is about much more than selling insurance. It is about education, preparation, protection, and helping everyday people make informed decisions about their financial future.

I have also started building an agency of brokers who share that same passion for helping people. Watching this vision grow has been incredibly rewarding, and I am excited about what the future holds.

When I think back to that conversation with my aunt before I graduated high school, I realize that the younger version of me had already seen something that I had not fully developed the courage to pursue yet.

I knew I wanted to work for myself.

It just took a few years, a few failures, a few life lessons, and a lot of faith in myself to finally go for it.

And now, I am just getting started.

This version is written to feel personal, inspirational, and magazine worthy while still sounding like you.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. It requires you to fully lock in.

When I started in the financial services industry, it required me to challenge myself mentally in ways I had not experienced before. I had to start thinking bigger, set bigger goals, and become comfortable pursuing things I had not yet achieved.

This industry has produced some of the most successful self made millionaires, but success does not happen overnight. It requires consistency, skill, discipline, and most importantly, the ability to build genuine relationships that are not transactional.

That part was challenging for me in the beginning because I knew nothing when I entered the industry. I felt like a baby learning everything from scratch. I had to go back to square one and become comfortable being a student again.

I had to lean into my mentors more. I had to ask more questions. I had to listen, learn, practice, and be willing to make mistakes.

For the first time in a long time, I was not the go to person for everything.

That challenged me the most.

I had spent so much of my career developing skills, becoming knowledgeable, and being someone others could rely on. Suddenly, I was in an environment where I had so much more to learn.

At first, that was uncomfortable. Eventually, I realized that it was exactly what I needed.

Sometimes growth requires you to humble yourself enough to become a beginner again. You have to be willing to admit that you do not know everything and trust the process of becoming better.

That experience has taught me that success is not just about what you already know. It is about your willingness to keep learning, keep improving, and keep showing up even when you are uncomfortable.

That is what locking in has meant for me.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a broker with Experior Financial Group, and I am currently building my own agency, Cyan Financial Group.

At Cyan Financial Group, we specialize in helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what they have, build their wealth, and protect their legacy. We offer a variety of financial products and services, including life insurance, annuities, group insurance, trusts, and wills.

We strive to be a one stop shop when it comes to protecting your family, building your financial future, and creating a lasting legacy.

What I am most proud of is our commitment to being People First.

You hear that phrase a lot in business, but for us, it is something we truly believe in. We take the time to sit down with our clients through personalized one on one sessions to understand their individual circumstances, goals, and concerns.

It is not simply about putting a product in front of someone. It is about education.

I want our clients to understand exactly what they have, how it works, what it is designed to accomplish, and how it fits into their overall financial picture. When people understand what they have and why they have it, they can make better decisions for themselves and their families.

One of the things that makes our approach unique is the number of options we can provide. We have access to more than 60 different companies, which allows us to look at multiple solutions and help tailor our recommendations to each client’s individual needs.

Our life insurance solutions include Term Life, Whole Life, Indexed Universal Life, Final Expense, and Mortgage Protection. We also provide annuity solutions designed to help clients with retirement growth and income planning.

Our work does not stop with individuals and families. I also work with business owners to help them think through their protection and financial planning needs.

At the heart of everything we do is personalized service. We do not believe in a one size fits all approach because everyone’s financial situation, goals, and needs are different.

I also believe that financial education should be accessible to everyone, not just people who already have significant wealth. That is why I provide free consultations and host monthly meetups for communities and churches where people can come, ask questions, and learn more about protecting their financial future.

My vision for Cyan Financial Group is bigger than building a business. I want to build an organization that people can trust.

I want people to know that when they sit down with us, they are not just another client. They are a person with a family, a future, goals, responsibilities, and a legacy worth protecting.

That is what People First means to me.

Any big plans?
Looking ahead, I am excited about continuing to grow my team and expand the impact of Cyan Financial Group.

One of my biggest goals is to sponsor and mentor people who want to enter the financial services industry, become licensed, and build something of their own. I know what it feels like to come into this industry knowing very little, so I want to create opportunities for others to learn, grow, and develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.

Within the next year, my goal is to help more than 250 individuals and families put meaningful protection in place while continuing to educate them about their financial options.

I also have a goal of building a team of 100 licensed brokers who share the same passion for education, service, and helping people protect their financial future.

Another major goal is to establish a physical office location for Cyan Financial Group. Having our own space would allow me to host more in person educational events, community meetups, training sessions, and networking opportunities.

Ultimately, I want Cyan Financial Group to become more than just a financial services agency. I want it to become a resource for the community.

I want to create a place where people can come to learn, ask questions, get educated, build relationships, and take meaningful steps toward protecting their families and creating a stronger financial future.

There is still a lot of work to do, but I am excited about the journey. I know what it took for me to get here, and I am even more excited about where we are going.
