Today we’d like to introduce you to Jadah Quick.
Hi Jadah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always believed that some of life’s best memories are made through travel. Long before Quick Trips became a business, I was the friend researching destinations, creating itineraries, organizing group trips, and making sure every detail came together so everyone could simply enjoy the experience. Seeing people step outside of their routines, experience new places, and create lifelong memories inspired me to turn that passion into something bigger.
Professionally, I built a nearly decade-long career in corporate finance, but outside of work I continued planning trips for friends, family, and anyone who asked. Over time, those experiences grew through referrals and word of mouth, and I realized there was an opportunity to create something that blended my love for travel, community, and bringing people together.
I originally planned to officially launch Quick Trips by Jadah in early 2024 following one of my annual group trips. However, life had other plans. In January 2024, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and everything came to a halt. While I postponed the official launch, I never stopped serving my clients or planning trips. That season reminded me just how precious life is and reinforced the importance of making memories with the people we love. It also strengthened my “why” behind the business. Additionally, my mom always encouraged me to pursue the things that brought me joy, so in many ways, continuing to build Quick Trips became one of the ways I chose to honor her legacy.
Today, Quick Trips by Jadah is a social travel community built around meaningful experiences and genuine connection. We specialize in curated group trips where strangers become friends, solo travelers never feel alone, and every itinerary is intentionally designed to help people disconnect from their routines and reconnect with life. Whether it’s an international adventure, a weekend getaway, or a local social event, my goal is simple: to create experiences that people remember long after they’ve unpacked their suitcase.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Entrepreneurship has been one of the most rewarding journeys of my life, but it certainly hasn’t been without its challenges.
One of my earliest obstacles came before the business officially launched, when I unexpectedly lost my mother. Navigating grief while trying to build something I cared so deeply about forced me to slow down and redefine success. It taught me resilience and reminded me why creating meaningful experiences matters so much.
As a solo entrepreneur, I wear every hat in the business. I’m the travel advisor, event planner, marketer, social media manager, content creator, customer service representative, accountant, and behind-the-scenes coordinator. While it can be overwhelming at times, it’s also taught me discipline, organization, and how to make the most of my time. Every challenge has made me a stronger entrepreneur.
Another hurdle has been helping people understand that Quick Trips is about much more than booking vacations. While I certainly help clients plan incredible trips, the heart of the brand is creating curated group experiences where anyone can join, especially those who don’t have someone to travel with. Some of my favorite success stories are watching complete strangers arrive as solo travelers and leave as lifelong friends.
More recently, an unexpected career transition gave me the opportunity to fully pursue the vision I’d been building. What could have felt like a setback became confirmation that it was time to invest even more intentionally into growing Quick Trips and expanding the community I’ve always envisioned.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Quick Trips by Jadah is a social travel community built around meaningful experiences and genuine connection. We specialize in curated group travel, personalized travel planning, and community-centered experiences that make travel feel exciting, effortless, and inclusive.
While we plan unforgettable domestic and international getaways, we’re probably best known for creating experiences where people genuinely connect. Many of our travelers come alone without knowing anyone, and by the end of the trip they’re exchanging numbers, planning future vacations together, and leaving with friendships they never expected to find. We also host local social events throughout the year so our community can build connections before they even board a plane.
What I’m most proud of is the community we’ve built. Seeing someone take their first solo trip, gain confidence, or tell me they met lifelong friends through Quick Trips is incredibly rewarding. Those moments remind me that we’re creating something much bigger than vacations.
I believe what truly sets Quick Trips apart is our intentionality. We don’t just plan itineraries, we curate experiences. Every destination, activity, and event is thoughtfully designed to balance adventure, relaxation, culture, and authentic connection. From the moment someone books until long after they return home, I want them to feel welcomed, cared for, and part of a community they can continue to grow with.
At the end of the day, my mission is simple: to inspire people to explore the world, step outside of their comfort zones, and discover that some of life’s greatest adventures begin with saying yes to the journey.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Don’t wait until everything is perfect to begin. If I had waited until I felt completely ready, Quick Trips probably wouldn’t exist today. Some of the greatest lessons I’ve learned came from simply taking the first step and figuring things out along the way.
I also wish I had understood sooner that building a business is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s easy to compare your beginning to someone else’s middle, especially in the age of social media. Behind every successful business is a story filled with pivots, setbacks, sacrifices, and moments of uncertainty that people rarely talk about.
Most importantly, build something that solves a real problem and reflects who you are. For me, Quick Trips has never just been about travel. It’s about creating opportunities for people to experience joy, build meaningful relationships, and make memories they’ll cherish for years to come. When your purpose is bigger than the product or service you’re offering, it becomes much easier to stay committed when challenges arise.
