Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Goldberg.
Hi Adam, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am currently an architectural, luxury hospitality, and interior design photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia who travels around the world for clients. My philosophy is “Better Photography, Together”. During my years of traveling the world for multiple organizations such as The Department of Defense and Deloitte Consulting, I discovered a passion for photographing the places that I visited. After obtaining my Master’s in Business Administration, I launched my photography career with a focus on interior and exterior spaces as I’ve always had an eye for the buildings in the places I have visited. Photography is the perfect mixture of science, art, and creativity for my innovative and imaginative mind. My current clients include architects, designers, general contractors, and hotels & resorts. I am an approved photographer for Hilton Luxury Brands (Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR) as well as Marriott Hotels and Resorts.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting my own business was challenging, especially coming from a successful career in consulting and sales. The biggest challenge has been building my brand and client base. There is so much that goes into running a business – it is not just marketing and sales. The trust I have had to gain with my clients by not only delivering quality work, but being easy to work with. There is lots of competition in the field so I have had to find ways to stand out. I am fortunate to now have a wonderful list of clients that entrust me to capture their projects for their marketing, sales, and award submissions.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am known for taking award winning photos of the built environment. This includes office spaces, new buildings, healthcare facilities, as well as luxury hotels and resorts. What sets me apart is not only the high quality imagery that I deliver but my collaboration with clients. What I am capturing is their project so I work closely with my clients on each frame that I photograph to ensure that the end product is exactly what they need for their marketing, sales, and award submission.
I am extremely proud of the final imagery I deliver to my clients that have won numerous awards. There are so many things I am proud of and I am grateful to all of my clients. Being one of only a few approved photographers for Hilton Luxury Brands such as Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR Hotels as well as for Marriott Hotels and Resorts highlights the trust that clients put in my work to meet their needs.
I am proud to have my company motto be “Better Photography, Together” as that speaks to my goal with every project I work with my clients on.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Prior to becoming a photographer, I worked for the Government doing Counter-Terrorism work. It has been quite the change coming from that career to being an architectural, luxury hospitality, and interior design photographer.
