Hi Jitarria, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story is one of resilience, faith, and refusing to let my circumstances define my future. I’m a wife, a mother of 12, and an entrepreneur, and every part of my journey has shaped the businesses and the woman I am today.

I didn’t come from a perfect background or have everything handed to me. I’ve experienced personal loss, health challenges, financial setbacks, and moments where I had to rebuild from the ground up. Those experiences taught me perseverance and gave me a heart for serving others.

Entrepreneurship started with a desire to create something that would not only provide for my family but also make an impact. I launched my tax and bookkeeping business to help individuals and small businesses build stronger financial futures. At the same time, I turned my love for cooking into my Cajun food business, creating meals that bring people together and reflect my Louisiana roots. Every business I’ve built has been rooted in solving problems, serving people, and creating opportunities.

Being a mother has also been one of my greatest motivations. Raising a large family has taught me how to lead, adapt, and keep going even when life gets difficult. It’s inspired me to pursue multiple streams of income and build businesses that create generational opportunities for my children.

Today, I’m still growing, learning, and expanding. My mission is bigger than business it’s about showing others that no matter where you start or what you’ve been through, you can rebuild, pursue your dreams, and create a life filled with purpose. I hope my journey encourages others to believe in themselves, trust God’s timing, and never give up, because some of the most beautiful stories are written after the hardest seasons.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. The journey has been anything but smooth. I’ve experienced loss, grief, health challenges, financial setbacks, and seasons where I questioned whether I had the strength to keep going. Losing my mom was one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced, and balancing motherhood, marriage, business, and healing has required more faith than I ever imagined.

As a mother of 12, there have been countless moments where I had to choose perseverance over comfort. I’ve dealt with personal trauma, setbacks in business, legal challenges, and even serious health issues, but every obstacle has taught me resilience. Instead of allowing my circumstances to define me, I’ve used them as fuel to build businesses, serve my community, and encourage other women who may be walking through difficult seasons of their own.

I’ve learned that success isn’t about having a perfect journey—it’s about continuing to move forward, even when the road is difficult. Every challenge has strengthened my faith, shaped my character, and reminded me that purpose is often born through perseverance. Today, I can honestly say I’m still growing, still learning, and still building, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

Through All Things Taxes Bookkeeping & Financial Services, I help individuals and small businesses build strong financial foundations by offering tax preparation, bookkeeping, financial services, notary services, and business support. My goal is to simplify finances and empower my clients with the knowledge and resources they need to create long-term success.

I’m also the owner of The Bayou Trap, a Southern Cajun-inspired food business known for bold flavors and creative seafood dishes. From my signature stuffed lobster tail egg rolls to seafood specialties and comfort food, every dish is prepared with love and designed to bring people together through great food and unforgettable experiences.

What truly sets me apart isn’t just the services I offer—it’s the heart behind everything I do. I don’t believe in simply providing a service; I believe in building relationships. Whether someone trusts me with their finances or orders a meal from my kitchen, I want them to feel valued, cared for, and confident they’ve received my very best.

My journey as a wife, mother of 12, entrepreneur, and woman of faith has shaped the way I lead. I’ve built my businesses through perseverance, resilience, and an unwavering belief that purpose can grow from even the hardest seasons. Those experiences allow me to connect with people on a deeper level because I understand what it means to overcome obstacles while still pursuing your dreams.

What I’m most proud of is that my brands represent more than business—they represent hope, excellence, integrity, and service. Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
One thing that surprises people is that while they may know me as an entrepreneur, chef, or tax professional, my greatest passion is simply serving people. Everything I’ve built is rooted in purpose, not just profit. Whether it’s preparing a meal for a family, helping a client get their finances in order, mentoring another entrepreneur, or giving back to my community, I truly believe my calling is to serve.

Many people are also surprised to learn that I’m a mother of 12. Raising a large family while building multiple businesses has taught me resilience, discipline, and how to lead with compassion. My children have been one of my greatest motivations, and they’ve inspired me to create a legacy that extends far beyond financial success.

Another thing people may not realize is how much faith has carried me through my journey. There have been seasons filled with loss, setbacks, and challenges that could have easily made me give up. Instead, those experiences strengthened my relationship with God and shaped the woman and business owner I am today.
