Community Highlights: Meet Lachelle Taylor of Prestige Party Rentals ATL

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lachelle Taylor.

Hi Lachelle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m Lachelle, the CEO of Prestige Party Rentals ATL and founder of Omnivex Security Solutions, my upcoming cybersecurity and GRC consulting firm. My journey has always been rooted in two things: creating experiences and protecting systems.

Prestige Party Rentals started very humbly — just me, a few chairs, and a vision to bring luxury‑level service to everyday events in Atlanta. I noticed that people wanted more than rentals; they wanted reliability, professionalism, and someone who cared about their event as much as they did. I built the business with that mindset, and it’s grown into a trusted brand serving baby showers, weddings, repasts, corporate events, and Airbnb hosts across the city.

At the same time, I’ve always had a passion for cybersecurity. I work in GRC, and I realized how many small businesses — especially minority‑owned ones — have no idea how vulnerable they are. That inspired me to build Omnivex Security Solutions, a consulting company focused on helping businesses strengthen their security posture, align with frameworks, and protect their data as they scale.

Both businesses reflect who I am: creative, analytical, and committed to excellence.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest challenge has been building two companies at the same time while still working full‑time. Prestige Party Rentals required physical labor, logistics, and customer management, while cybersecurity requires deep focus, technical knowledge, and constant learning. Balancing both worlds pushed me to become extremely organized and intentional with my time.

Another challenge was pricing confidently. In the rental industry, people often underestimate the cost of delivery, labor, and equipment maintenance. I had to learn to stand firm on my rates and protect my profit margins.

In cybersecurity, the challenge is education — helping clients understand why security matters before something goes wrong. Many small businesses don’t think they’re “big enough” to be targeted, but cyber threats don’t discriminate.

Every challenge made me sharper, more disciplined, and more confident as a CEO.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Prestige Party Rentals ATL is a premium event‑rental company serving the metro Atlanta area. We specialize in providing high‑quality chairs, tables, and event essentials for baby showers, weddings, repasts, corporate gatherings, backyard celebrations, and Airbnb events. What we’re known for — and what truly sets us apart — is our commitment to professionalism, reliability, and luxury‑level presentation, no matter the size of the event.

Our brand is built on three pillars:

• Quality Inventory — Every item is clean, polished, and maintained to a premium standard.
• On‑Time Delivery — We show up early, communicate clearly, and make the rental process seamless.
• Customer Experience — Clients feel taken care of from the first message to the final pickup.

Prestige Party Rentals ATL isn’t just a rental company — it’s a brand built on trust. When people book with us, they know their event will look elevated, organized, and professionally supported. That’s the part I’m most proud of: the reputation we’ve built in such a short time. Clients consistently tell us that our service made their event feel “real,” “put together,” and “stress‑free,” and that’s exactly the experience we aim to deliver.

For readers learning about us for the first time, I want them to know that Prestige Party Rentals ATL is a premium yet accessible rental brand. We offer clean, modern inventory, transparent pricing, professional communication, and a smooth booking process. Whether it’s a small family gathering or a large celebration, we bring the same level of care, consistency, and excellence every single time.

Prestige Party Rentals ATL is growing quickly, expanding inventory, and preparing to serve even more clients across Atlanta. We’re building a brand that feels elevated, dependable, and memorable — and we’re just getting started.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Finding a mentor and building a strong network starts with being intentional and visible. For me, the best connections came from simply showing up — to industry events, business workshops, community gatherings, and even online spaces where entrepreneurs share resources. You don’t need to know the “right people” at first; you just need to be in the right rooms consistently.

What’s worked well for me is leading with value and authenticity. I don’t approach people asking, “Can you mentor me?” Instead, I ask better questions — things like how they overcame a challenge or what systems helped them scale. When people see you’re serious, curious, and committed, mentorship happens naturally.

I also believe in building relationships across industries, not just within your own. Some of my best business insights came from people outside the event space — tech professionals, real estate investors, and other entrepreneurs who think differently. Those perspectives helped me grow Prestige Party Rentals ATL with a more strategic mindset.

My biggest advice is this:
Be consistent, be genuine, and don’t be afraid to reach out first. The right mentor or connection often comes from one simple conversation. And remember, networking isn’t about collecting contacts — it’s about building relationships that help you grow, stay accountable, and think bigger.
