Conversations with Summer McIntyre

Today we’d like to introduce you to Summer McIntyre.

Hi Summer, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always believed I was meant to be in front of the camera. I graduated from Georgia State University and started creating content around fitness, sports, fashion, anime, lifestyle, and travel while chasing opportunities in the entertainment industry. Along the way, I worked as an extra on television productions, built my social media presence, and kept putting myself out there even when opportunities didn’t come right away.

One of the biggest turning points in my journey was competing on a reality competition show\. That experience pushed me outside my comfort zone, challenged me mentally and emotionally, and gave me the platform to show my personality\. I realized that people connected with me because I was authentic—I wasn’t trying to be anyone else.

Today, I’m continuing to grow as a content creator and aspiring sports broadcaster while pursuing more opportunities in television and media\. My goal is to inspire others to chase their dreams fearlessly, stay true to themselves, and prove that consistency and confidence can open doors you never imagined
When you realize you can manifest the life you want and apply yourself, the possibilities are endless. Another big goal of mine is working with a Sports team and interning behind my Idols like Taylor Rooks and Janericka Owens.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many people pursuing a career in entertainment and media, I’ve faced rejection, uncertainty, and moments where I questioned whether I was on the right path. There were opportunities I didn’t get, projects that fell through, and times when I had to keep believing in myself even when no one else could see the vision.

One of the hardest parts of my journey has been losing people I genuinely thought would be part of it. Some friendships changed, some relationships ended, and there were people I expected to celebrate my wins with who are no longer in my life. At first, that was difficult to accept, but I’ve learned that not everyone is meant to be with you for every chapter. Sometimes people are only meant to be part of your story for a season, and that’s okay.

I’ve also learned that building a personal brand and chasing big dreams requires patience, consistency, and resilience. It’s easy to compare yourself to others, but I’ve realized that everyone’s journey unfolds differently. Through every setback, I’ve grown stronger, more confident, and more focused on the purpose God has for my life.

Today, I choose to look at every challenge as preparation rather than failure. My faith reminds me that what’s meant for me won’t pass me by, and I believe every obstacle has shaped me into the woman I’m becoming. I’m grateful for every lesson because they’ve all played a role in getting me where I am today, and I know this is only the beginning.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a content creator and upcoming TV personality who creates content around sports, fitness, fashion, lifestyle, anime, and travel. I also want to pursue modeling as part of my career journey. My goal has always been to entertain, inspire, and connect with people by showing up as my authentic self. Whether I’m breaking down sports topics, documenting my fitness journey, sharing behind-the-scenes moments from television, or exploring opportunities in modeling, I want people to feel like they’re growing alongside me.

I’m especially proud of stepping into the television world and continuing to bet on myself. From working on productions to competing on a reality competition show, every opportunity has helped me grow both personally and professionally. Those experiences have shown me that I belong in this industry and have given me the confidence to keep chasing bigger dreams, including modeling.

What sets me apart is my personality and versatility. I can talk sports one minute, share my latest fitness challenge the next, and then connect with people through humor, vulnerability, and everyday life. I’m not afraid to be myself, even when it’s uncomfortable, and I think people appreciate that authenticity. I don’t try to fit into one box—I embrace every part of who I am.

More than anything, I hope people remember me as someone who stayed true to herself. My career is still growing, but I’m proud that I’ve built it on faith, resilience, and the belief that if you stay consistent and keep showing up, the right opportunities will come. I’m also thankful for the doors that open when I work on MYSELF AND NOT ON PEOPLE WHO HOLD ME BACK. Blessed for the doors that closed. I’m also grateful for the people I’ve meet from all my production adventures and tv life. Especially certain I recently met.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
If I had to choose one quality that’s been most important to my success, it would be resilience. I’ve learned that success isn’t about never facing setbacks—it’s about continuing to move forward despite them. There have been moments of rejection, disappointment, and uncertainty, and I’ve also had to navigate losing people I thought would be part of my journey. Those experiences could have made me give up, but instead they made me stronger.

I also believe authenticity has been one of my greatest strengths. I don’t try to be someone I’m not, whether I’m creating content, competing on television, or meeting new people. I’ve found that being genuine creates real connections, and that’s something I never want to lose.

Above all, my faith keeps me grounded. It reminds me to trust the process, stay patient, and believe that every opportunity—and every challenge—is preparing me for what’s next. That combination of resilience, authenticity, and faith has shaped who I am and continues to drive me toward my goals.
