Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniella Marie.
Hi Daniella, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been a creative soul. Long before I ever considered myself a designer, creativity showed up in every part of my life — from the way I dressed, to how I styled spaces, told stories, or expressed emotion visually. Design was never just one lane for me; it was a language I spoke instinctively.
I’m completely self-trained. I didn’t come from a traditional fashion background or follow a linear path, but I’ve always trusted my eye, my artistic capability and my intuition. Over time, that curiosity turned into experimentation — sketching, constructing, sourcing, learning through trial and error, and teaching myself the technical side by simply doing the work alongside a highly skilled atelier team. I learned by creating, failing, refining, and creating again; knowing that I wanted to create in the space of love and build my legacy here.
What really shaped my journey was allowing my creativity to evolve naturally rather than forcing it into a box. Each chapter of this journey built on the last — sharpening my point of view, strengthening my confidence, and helping me understand that my story and perspective are my greatest assets as a designer and creative. I began with my Bridal Ready-to-Wear Brand, Bach HQ and worked up the courage and skill to fully step into my Designer blueprint with my signature Bridal Line, Daniella Marie Bridal, which debuted at New York Bridal Fashion Week 2025.
Today, I’m here because I stayed consistent, trusted my vision, and allowed my passion for design in all its forms to lead me forward. Being based in Atlanta has also been incredibly grounding — it’s a city that celebrates individuality, reinvention, and creative freedom, which mirrors my own path. I didn’t arrive here overnight, but every step — even the uncertain ones — brought me exactly where I’m meant to be.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the biggest challenges has been earning credibility as a new designer in an industry filled with long-established names. Gaining the attention of respected media, buyers, and even brides takes time when you’re building something from the ground up without a legacy label behind you. It is truly a complete reliance on my inner knowing that I am meant to be here and meant to do this and trusting, in time, it will be received by all.
There’s a level of trust you have to earn — not just in your designs, but in your vision, your consistency, and your ability to deliver at the highest level. Early on, I have to advocate for myself and my work, even when doors don’t open immediately or conversations move slower than I hoped, but that is part of the beautiful journey unfolding – there is so much yet to be experienced and for that I am truly excited.
What keeps me grounded as a new designer to the scene is staying focused on authenticity. Instead of trying to compete or conform, I am committed to refining my voice and letting the work speak for itself. Over time, that consistency is beginning to shift perception. Each collection, collaboration, and moment of visibility becomes another brick in the foundation of my name.
The journey has required patience, resilience, and a lot of belief — but those very challenges are what have made the progress feel meaningful and lasting.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work lives at the intersection of modern wearability meets couture craftsmanship, designs that aren’t just worn, but made to make a statement. Every gown begins with a narrative, often inspired by timeless femininity, personal history, or moments that evoke strength and softness at once. My designs are Modern Couture, accessible art that make an iconic statement.
What I’m most proud of is the integrity behind the work. As a self-trained designer, I’m deeply involved in every step of the process — from concept and sketching to fabric selection and final execution. That hands-on approach allows each piece to remain intentional and true to my vision rather than driven by trends.
What sets me apart is that I design from intuition and emotion first. I’m not trying to replicate what already exists in the bridal space. I’m building something rooted in authenticity — where each design tells a story that allows a woman to feel powerful, confident, and seen.
As a Woman and Mother, most importantly, my feminine expression is the fabric woven into every stitch; power, grace and love.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Atlanta is an incredibly empowering city. There’s a spirit here that encourages people to build, to dream boldly, and to carve out their own path. It’s a place where creativity isn’t confined to one definition, and where individuality is celebrated rather than filtered. For me, Atlanta has always felt like a city that gives you permission to believe in yourself — and that’s an invaluable foundation for any creative career.
Where Atlanta still has room to grow is in being recognized as a true beacon for luxury bridal fashion. While the city has immense creative talent and entrepreneurial energy, the bridal fashion industry remains largely centered around cities like New York. As a result, designers based here often have to travel extensively to be present at major fashion weeks and industry gatherings in order to be in the right rooms — which can be both costly and demanding, especially for emerging designers.
That said, I’m optimistic. I believe Atlanta has the opportunity to continue building its credibility in the bridal space and to become a more visible player on the national fashion map. With its growing creative community and fearless entrepreneurial culture, I hope to see Atlanta increasingly recognized not just as a place where brands are born — but where luxury bridal fashion can truly thrive.
