Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Golden.

Hi Jasmine, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started Golden Wellness Coaching on March 28, 2025, during a season of unemployment. I had already been researching and dreaming about creating something of my own, and losing my job became the push I needed to finally bring that vision to life. I wanted to create a space dedicated to helping Black women and teens strengthen their self esteem, deepen their relationship with themselves, and recognize their worth. Since then, I have successfully built a growing virtual coaching business from the ground up. There is still so much I hope to accomplish, but I am incredibly grateful for how far Golden Wellness Coaching has come and excited about where it is headed.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a completely smooth road. Starting a business can be a slow process, especially when so much of its growth depends on the time, energy, and consistency you are able to put into it. Since Golden Wellness Coaching is virtual, social media, content creation, and advertising are important parts of connecting with potential clients. Keeping up with all of that while also working a part time job has been challenging. I am still learning how to balance everything, remain consistent, and be patient with the process while continuing to believe in what I am building.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Golden Wellness Coaching LLC is a virtual coaching business dedicated to helping teens and women build confidence, strengthen their self esteem, and develop a healthier relationship with themselves. Through individual coaching, supportive content, and free virtual workshops, I create spaces where people can reflect, grow, and feel empowered to rewrite the stories they have carried about who they are.

What sets Golden Wellness Coaching apart is the genuine and personal approach I bring to every interaction. My work is grounded in compassion, encouragement, and the belief that people deserve support that makes them feel seen rather than judged. I am especially passionate about creating representation and emotionally safe spaces for Black women and teens.

I am most proud that Golden Wellness Coaching is becoming more than a business. It is growing into a community where people can be honest about their struggles while still recognizing their strength and potential. Through the Golden Growth Series, I also offer free monthly virtual workshops so that people can access meaningful support regardless of whether they are able to invest in individual coaching. My goal is for every person who encounters this brand to leave feeling understood, encouraged, and reminded of their worth.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next five to ten years, I believe the coaching and wellness industry will continue to grow as more people recognize the importance of investing in their emotional well being and personal development. I also see virtual support and group based programs becoming even more popular because they allow people to connect, grow, and receive support from wherever they are.

As Golden Wellness Coaching grows, I would love to expand my group offerings and create both free and paid options. This would allow me to continue making support accessible while also offering more structured and in depth experiences for those who are ready to invest further in their growth. I believe people are looking for spaces that feel personal, supportive, and community centered, and I hope Golden Wellness Coaching can continue becoming one of those spaces.
