Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Laskey.

Hi Ryan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Originally from Tacoma, Washington I grew up very active and social with sports and other various activities. I was first introduced to the real estate industry by an uncle of mine, and it seemed not only a great way to meet new people and create new challenges for myself but also not a bad way to make a living. During my early adult years, I took a trip to Atlanta and fell in love with the city. The culture and ambiance drew me in. So I decided to pack up and drive down. Once here, I made it a goal to purchase my first home. This sparked my passion in real estate and started my career. After going to real estate school and passing the state exam, I found a great company to work for that fit my personal needs and helped me grow in the field.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road for me wasn’t smooth at first. When I first became a licensed realtor, I just became a new Father. This was an absolutely amazing time of my life, but it was hard to adjust to working and making sure I was a great father. After getting a schedule down, I was able to get to work, but the difficulty I found from not being originally from Atlanta was the pool of people you know and being able to use them to start your business. But this forced me to get out and meet new awesome people and go to different events that I never thought of before. I reached out to my mentor in the early days to help me with basics, but once I got my feet wet and became more confident, I feel like I can help any client that comes my way!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Realtor for Solid Source Realty. I specialize in helping young adults and first-time home buyers purchasing their starter homes. What sets me apart from others is my dedication to the growth and future of my clients. I want them to know that by choosing me will be one of their best decisions due to my customer service, knowledge, and commitment to their specific needs. With me aren’t just a number! I want your readers to know that once they are ready to start the home buying process, I will ensure that I will give them all my best efforts to find them their perfect home!

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
That I am knowledgeable, trusting, driven, a great negotiator, dedicated, dependable, and determined.
