Today we’d like to introduce you to Kris “Coach K” Jones.
Hi Kris “Coach K”, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story really started with a decision—to become the man God created me to be.
I’ve always been ambitious. I’ve always had big dreams. But there was a season where I was chasing success more than I was pursuing alignment. Once I committed to growing spiritually, mentally, physically, and professionally, everything began to change. It wasn’t overnight, but every season started building the man I am today.
Over the years, I’ve worked in finance, built businesses, spent more than a decade in the music industry, and now serve as a Quality Assurance Supervisor. Every chapter taught me something different about leadership, discipline, resilience, and people. Looking back, I can see that none of it was wasted. God was preparing me for a bigger assignment.
Today, I’m the founder of Kingdom Coaching Global (KCG), where I help high-performing professionals stop living successful on paper but unfulfilled in private. My mission is to help people align their faith, identity, leadership, and purpose so they can lead with confidence in every area of life.
I also lead King’s Counsel, a brotherhood committed to developing men into stronger leaders through faith, finances, mindset, and personal growth. And I’m the author of *The 30/30 Method*, a practical framework that helps people strengthen their spirit, renew their mind, and improve their physical health in just 30 minutes a day.
The truth is, I’m still growing. I don’t pretend to have it all figured out. But today, I live with intention. Everything I build, every room I walk into, and every person I serve is rooted in one mission: helping people become who God created them to be while continuing to become that man myself.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all—it’s been anything but smooth.
My journey has come with real challenges—mentally, financially, and spiritually. There were seasons where I had the vision but not the structure, the drive but not the discipline. I’ve faced setbacks in business, moments of uncertainty, financial pressure, and personal situations that forced me to take a hard look at myself and grow up in areas I couldn’t avoid anymore.
There were times I had to rebuild—my mindset, my habits, even my direction. Balancing work, purpose, fatherhood, and personal growth wasn’t easy, and it required sacrifice, consistency, and accountability at a level most people don’t talk about.
But every challenge refined me. It strengthened my faith, sharpened my discipline, and gave me the tools I now use to lead others through their own transformation. So no, it hasn’t been smooth—but it’s been necessary.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m the founder of Kingdom Coaching Global (KCG), a faith-driven coaching and personal development company designed to help high-performing individuals align their lives with purpose, discipline, and Kingdom principles. We focus on the full transformation of the individual—spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially.
What we’re known for is our ability to bridge faith and execution. A lot of people either have the spiritual foundation or the strategy—but we specialize in both. Through structured coaching programs, systems like The 30/30 Method, and communities like King’s Counsel, we help men and professionals build real discipline, emotional intelligence, financial awareness, and leadership in their everyday lives.
What sets us apart is that we don’t just motivate—we build structure. We give people practical systems they can apply daily, rooted in biblical principles but designed for real-world results. It’s not just inspiration; it’s transformation.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the culture we’re building. Kingdom Coaching Global isn’t just a business—it’s a movement. It’s a standard. Whether it’s through coaching, speaking, workshops, or our men’s brotherhood, we’re creating a space where growth is intentional, accountability is real, and excellence is expected.
What I want readers to know is simple: if you’re serious about becoming the highest version of yourself—aligned with God, disciplined in your habits, and impactful in your life—there’s a place for you here.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Absolutely—this is something I’ve learned through real experience.
For me, finding a mentor wasn’t about chasing proximity—it was about becoming the type of person worth pouring into. I focused on my discipline, consistency, and growth first. When you show up serious, prepared, and intentional, the right people naturally become more open to guiding you.
What’s worked well for me is leading with value, not need. Instead of asking, “What can I get?” I approach relationships with, “How can I contribute?” Whether that’s my time, skills, or perspective, that mindset shifts everything. People respect those who add value.
I’ve also learned to be direct and intentional. When I connect with someone I respect, I’m clear about who I am, what I’m building, and what I’m looking to learn—without being overly dependent. Mentorship should be a relationship, not a rescue mission.
Networking, for me, is really about building genuine relationships. Consistency matters—checking in, following up, and showing support over time. And just as important, you have to be discerning. Every connection isn’t meant to go deeper, and that’s okay.
The biggest thing I’d tell anyone is this: don’t wait for a mentor to change your life—start doing the work now. When you’re in motion, aligned, and growing, the right people will meet you there.
