Hi Ivory, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
The start of my journey was truly the beginning of my life. I have always dreamed of becoming exactly who I am today and turning my dreams into reality. Chaná Chic started as an idea rooted in self-expression. Over time, I grew to love sharing my styling while embracing it as a creative gift. Resilience helped shape Chaná Chic, making it a brand built on authenticity, intention, and the belief that style can be a powerful form of self-expression. From the very beginning, my brand has been deeply personal and intentional.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I like to think that my style is the smoothest aspect of Chaná Chic. No matter what the struggle is, it’s done fashionably. Although fashion doesn’t solve all problems, building this brand has come with its share of challenges. I have experienced moments where my creativity was imitated, seasons of having a steady flow of styling clients followed by seasons of having none, and, of course, the personal challenges that come with balancing life and entrepreneurship.

Through every season, I’ve learned the importance of staying true to my vision. Challenges may shape the journey, but they do not define the destination. Chaná Chic continues to grow because it was built from authenticity, passion, and purpose.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work is centered around personal styling, creative expression, and creating meaningful fashion experiences. Chaná Chic specializes in helping individuals discover confidence through style while creating looks that reflect who they are. I believe fashion is more than just clothing—it is a form of storytelling, self-expression, and personal connection.

What I am most proud of is the evolution of Chaná Chic beyond styling. Through experiences like Sunday with Chaná, I am able to create a space where fashion becomes a personal embrace of creativity, confidence, and connection. It allows people to experience style in a way that goes beyond the outfit and focuses on how fashion makes them feel.

As Chaná Chic continues to grow, I am excited to expand the story of the brand. What sets Chaná Chic apart is the personal connection behind every creation. I don’t believe in simply putting someone in an outfit; I believe in creating an experience that allows people to see themselves in a new way and feel confident in who they are.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
At Chaná Chic, we believe there will always be a place for fashion and wellness in this world. Over the next 5-10 years, we will continue to seek inspiration behind putting our looks together. We will continue to discover new fashion brands, clothing, trends, and new ways to express ourselves.

I believe we will see advancements in how we access and create our everyday style, making fashion more personalized and accessible. One change I have truly enjoyed witnessing is the growing recognition and appreciation of fashion stylists. We are now more exposed to the creatives behind some of our most iconic looks and the work that goes into bringing fashion visions to life.

Social media has also created a space where people can share their own personal style, inspire others, and embrace fashion in a way that feels authentic to them. I believe the future of fashion will continue to be shaped by creativity, self-expression, and the stories we tell through what we wear.
