Meet Rackz DaEngineer of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rackz DaEngineer.

Hi Rackz, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Rackz was introduced to music at a young age. She was playing instruments, in the choir, and dance ministry as early as 5 years old. Fast forward to her College days at University of West Georgia she was exposed to the root of music, where the magic happens, the studio. She started out as a Artist herself. Within mastering her own craft she than began to record her own music. 2 years later she opened her first studio, Rackz$tar Studios LLC. After operating her own studio from ownership all the way down to engineering her clients she began to branch off and now works out of multiple recording studios around Atlanta solidifying her skill in the industry.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been blood, sweat, & tears; but pressure makes diamonds. I have overcome many obstacles on my music journey. Running an entire studio by myself was challenging. You have to book the artist, record the artist, make sure you’re alert and the building is secure while the session is in progress, clean up after the artist, and do it all again. Many many long nights and early mornings.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a audio engineer. I attended SAE Institute of Atlanta to learn the craft in 2019. I have 6 years of recording experience. I specialize in attentive detail to music. I am told often. “ you hear what most people don’t.” It sets me apart from others immediately and it’s what made me become an audio engineer. I handle your music as if it was my own.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
You can find me at RackzDaEngineer/_shairackz on all platforms. I am an audio engineer at MBC Studios and DreamSound Studios as well. You can check out both sites of the studios and book me there as well for your recording needs.
