Rising Stars: Meet Marjane’ Parks

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marjane’ Parks.

Hi Marjane’, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started writing Gospel Music when I rededicated my life back to Christ twenty plus years ago. Although growing up in church I started in R&B music. God’s call upon my life changed who I am as a woman of God today.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey in music hasn’t always been smooth. As an independent artist that journey has its low and high moments. I have to depend on nothing but God to open doors of opportunity so my ministry is made known to the world. I take on all the financial responsibilities of all that comes with being a recording artists and sometimes that can be challenging.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am known as a National Recording Artist, Host snd Speaker. I’m proud of the work I have done it’s an Artist in Music and will be celebrating that twentieth year in music real soon!! I’ve seen God to some tremendous things in my journey of music.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I’m not sure if I would use the term “Risk Taking” it’s simply “Walking by Faith”. I am a woman of God who depends on God to supply every need concerning my life, and my ministry in music. Without faith and without the Lord I can do nothing. My life is an exemplification of who God is in me.
