Rising Stars: Meet Ronnie McLaughlin of National

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronnie McLaughlin.

Hi Ronnie , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My mom has always been my biggest motivation. She was always the epitome of courage and strength. For many years, she suffered verbal and physical abuse by the hands of my father, Ronnie McLaughlin Sr. I grew up with an insatiable desire to uplift, encourage and inspire others to overcome their obstacles through my story of perseverance. My moms story of trials to triumph has been my shining example of what faith in God and having faith in yourself can do.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road. The struggles I have faced have been predominantly internal rather than external. Every dreamer will be met with opposition from various avenues. The struggle from within is the greatest battle that any person with potential will ever have to conquer. External factors can halt or delay one’s dream from manifesting but only the dreamer can abort the mission and stop God’s plan of predestination from unfolding.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As a Keynote Speaker and an Executive Coach I incite change through the power of the spoken word. I bring solution and a quantifiable change utilizing various modalities through keynote speaking, group coaching, one on one coaching and breakout sessions. I offer coaching services to corporations, schools, churches, for profit and nonprofit organizations.
