Satoya Hayes is building Beauty 2 Extensions as more than a hair business — it’s a pathway to financial independence rooted in accessibility, empowerment, and community. Inspired by her background as a beautician and her desire to help others feel confident without financial strain, she has created a model that blends affordable, high-quality products with a structured dropshipping system designed to help others generate income. After stepping away from hands-on styling due to physical challenges, Satoya redirected her passion into creating opportunities for others, particularly within underserved communities. With a strong emphasis on education, ownership, and collective growth, her vision extends beyond personal success to building a network of empowered entrepreneurs growing — and thriving — together.
Satoya, what inspired you to build Beauty 2 Extensions not just as a business, but as a platform for financial independence and opportunity?
My inspiration to build Beauty 2 Extensions came from being a woman and always watching a woman by the name of Mrs. Shirley. She owned a non-profit organization called Beauty 2 the Streetz and because of her humanitarianism, I found hope that there are still some good people in this world. Mrs. Shirley was a Fierce human being who made homeless individuals feel seen and loved. As a Beautician with over 10 years of experience doing hair professionally, I too have seen that joy on others’ faces after getting a Hairstyle that makes them feel young again or even covering a flaw that drove their self-esteem down. I was once called the Hair Surgeon lol, I know firsthand how a beautiful hairstyle can drive a person’s confidence back through the roof. I have always been an affordable Beautician offering prices no higher than $150 but due to problems with both of my hands, I can no longer bring that joy of beauty and affordability through hairstyling. I wanted to do something new that will trend for a lifetime and maintain the same integrity that brought me into the hair industry. I’ve gained 20 5-star reviews on Google on my hair page (Sistarz Beauty and Spa) and I want to gain 50+ partners with my dropshipping company. I cherish those who are around me; that’s why my business is also managed by family and friends. My new project Beauty 2 Extensions is able to bring that same quality at an affordable price while also teaching others how they can gain profit from my dropshipping company.
Your model combines affordability with entrepreneurship. How do your memberships and dropshipping system help people realistically start and grow their own business?
Beauty 2 Extensions provides 5-tier monthly memberships for dropshipping and one monthly membership for consumers who are looking to purchase affordable hair. Our dropshipping packages are Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Elite which range in price from $0 – $1100. While our Individual Membership offers a $350 Monthly fee for Access to Burmese Human Hair Extensions with a Price of “14 Inches starting at $33.89 and the highest price of “50 inches starting at $250. You may ask why would someone need to pay $350 monthly in order to purchase the bundles? Well, I developed a strategic plan to not just bring affordability but also bring quality. After doing my research on companies, different strands of hair, and learning raw vs virgin or Remy hair.
I’ve found the perfect vendor that brings the best extensions that you can run your fingers through. This hair is double drawn with a high density that guarantees to last for a lifetime. In order for us to bring that same quality and keep a low price, we have to charge a fee to enter the Affordable Quality Club!!
As far as our Dropshipping brand, we offer a free trial, which is our Silver Membership, once again offering affordability but allowing you to resell for a profit. Now we do not take a percentage of the profit; our partners keep 100% of the profit that they make. Here is the kicker: the higher the tier, the lower the bundle for Resell, which means the higher your profit will be. Our Gold Membership is $99 and offers Hair Extensions as low as $45.89, while the Silver Membership hair extensions start at $48.89. Going into the High Tier Platinum Membership is $300 with hair extensions starting at $42.89, the Diamond Membership is $500 with hair starting at $35.89, while our biggest tier, the Elite Membership, is $1100 with hair starting at $27.00.
The higher your tier level, the more benefits that you will receive. Just like the individual side, the monthly memberships give us the opportunity to give back benefits and incentives to those who are performing well. And for those who need help, we offer additional support, like signing up for an Elite Membership. We guarantee to design you a free logo, offer you a free ride to the all-expense-paid luncheon in Houston, TX, and offer you a list of reliable vendors in which you can expand your business beyond hair extensions. We give you a guide on signing up for grants and give you a list of reliable grants. We offer free graphic tees and merchandise for signing up with us.
The biggest con for Dropshipping is that the products take forever to be delivered. Beauty 2 Extensions guarantees 3-7 business-day shipping with 3-day delivery. Not to mention access to “14 inches – “50 Inches of Hair. We give back QUARTLY Bonuses to Sellers who reach their sales goals and a monthly $250 back to the Elite Members just to honor them for taking a chance to partner with our company. The All Expense Luncheon is to honor our partners and the top sellers by giving back gifts for growing our company, because without our partners and our consumers my company would not be around.
You mentioned launching a classroom on SKOOL. What can aspiring entrepreneurs expect to learn, especially those new to the hair industry?
As a business major who’s close to getting her Bachelor’s degree, I have learned so much about the structure of a successful business. I am ready to share it with the world. Aspiring entrepreneurs can expect the blueprint of a successful company. They would not only learn the basics of how to start a Business [Build a logo, Think of revenue, inventory, etc]. They would learn the laws of business {Very Important} because every state is different, they would need to know how taxes and tax brackets work. I’m prepared to tell others how to utilize their own property to help gain revenue for their hair business because investing in yourself is not cheap.
Beginners in the hair industry, my teaching session will give you a direct insight into how to build a successful hair company in an industry that’s constantly growing and changing. Whether you are in school or just graduating, or you may already have a side hustle, looking to have quality bundles on hand, my classroom will give you access to everything that you will need to already gain a profit before graduating, or either get you that salon you dreamed of after graduation. My class gives you the blueprint on marketing your business the old school and new School way via technology, business cards, and being at the right place at the right time.
Your mission is deeply rooted in impact, particularly for underserved communities. How has your personal journey shaped that vision?
Well, I’ve been told NO so many times by so many different people, and those Nos push me harder to say ok I won’t keep taking no for an answer! I had to think to myself, what do people really want, and how can I relate to them? For one, I love a good hairstyle, and I love to look good, but I hate to be overcharged just to feel confident and comfortable in my skin. That’s one of the reasons I started doing my own hair to save money. Don’t get me wrong, if you got it, flaunt it , but I grew up on savings and didn’t grow up popular, so I had to make my own way in this industry while being different from my peers. As a beautician I heard people sad stories, I heard comedic, and I heard stories of success but no matter who I had in my chair I never changed my prices. I noticed how it felt good to walk out of an appointment and still have money in your pocket to show off.
With this project, I want it to be in broader magazines because my impact is not only for myself, it’s about developing wealth for others in an economy where prices continue to rise, and women continue to get laid off. Although my company doesn’t discriminate (Sex, Age, Race, or Religion), I felt the need to build a strong company that will develop a solution to the economy. I leave you with this; Arizona Beverages developed a plan so strategic that it’s been in business for 34 years and have not raised their prices from .99. It was founded in 1992 and it is still around with the same Taste and the same price and it’s 2026 that’s what I believe I can change within the hair industry. No one is willing to be affordable, although I believe in change and transformation, I believe in humanity and what I would want to spend as a consumer.
Looking ahead, what does success look like for you not just for your company, but for the people you aim to empower?
Well, usually when I develop a business, I would be solo and just do everything on my own independently. This time, I took a leap of faith and decided to recruit some women who are like family and who are, in fact, family. I have 4 managers who all either have someone they are looking out for or either just looking out for themselves. Karen who is my big sister; Asia who is my sister’s daughter (my niece); Shatoya my friend who has my back for far too long and my son’s godmother and RaeNette who is my little cousin. We are all family running this company, Black Female-owned and operated. We opened on April 24th, 2026. We are determined to do the work to make this a successful company.
As the CEO, I want to thank these ladies because funding a company out of your own pockets, while being a mother, in school and now running a company with employees’ funds will not always be easy to come by. These ladies have proved to be here with me for the growth of the company, and I’m sure we will make it work. So yeah, I aim to empower my employees to look and hope for a better future with this company or their very own, and give me the opportunity to be the CEO that I have dreamed of and to make all of us millionaires right along with our future partners.
