Hi Asia, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity.. it’s a strong characteristic to have.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m the owner & founder of Flowers Cosmetics. Flowers Cosmetics isn’t just a brand with a fancy name… just as the quote says: a flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms. With every shade of lipstick being named after a flower or something from the garden such as “Romantic Roses”, “Petal”, “Tulip”. I wanted to create a cosmetic line with something everyone would love. I feel like every woman deserves her flowers.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
I feel like a lot of trauma or misunderstandings come from conversations that we as people should’ve been had. I’m big on clarity. Things can be restored with healthy communication.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
When I realized no one in this world owes you anything..not the absent Dad, your ex, your Mother, no one. I started using my pain as power when I didn’t allow my circumstances or upbringing to define who I am or who I want to be.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That the market is over saturated.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
Good question. One thing I understand deeply that many people don’t always recognize is this:

Most things that feel permanent emotions, problems, failures, even identities are actually temporary. They feel overwhelming in the moment, but they shift with time, perspective, or action. People often get stuck thinking “this is forever” when in reality, almost nothing is.
