Quincy, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I would say I’m most proud of the relationships and team I’ve built over the years. Being around so many actively motivated individuals excel in their craft, and make impactful moves in the spaces they’re in is incredibly rewarding.

Even if it goes unseen, the foundation of collaboration and growth with these people that plays into the bigger picture is what I enjoy the most.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, my name is Quincy Jones (no relation). I’m a model, creative artist, and event curator dedicated to using my platform to inspire others and create opportunities for underrepresented voices. My journey has been built on collaboration, community, and authenticity—from working with brands to curating spaces where new talent can shine. At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to growth, and opening doors not just for myself, but for others who come after me with similar aspirations

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
I think traveling and encountering so many different personalities has really shaped how I see the world. It’s made me hyper aware that everyone is living their own life, with their own goals and challenges, that I may never see. from mine.

At the same time, I’ve learned that the most powerful connections happen when we find ways to align those goals and support each other’s journeys.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell my younger self the same thing I remind myself of to this day: everything will work out the way it’s meant to. Even when the path feels uncertain, trust that every step is part of the process.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What truths are so foundational in your life that you rarely articulate them?
One truth that’s at the core of my foundation is that balance is everything. I believe without balance, it’s easy to burn out, lose focus, or even lose sight of what truly matters. Whether it’s balancing work with rest, ambition with gratitude, or giving with receiving, I’ve learned, adopted, and accepted that balance creates the stability needed to grow and move forward. It’s not always easy to maintain, but it’s what keeps me grounded and aligned.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you laid down your name, role, and possessions—what would remain?
If I set aside my name, role, and possessions, all that would remain is a man who loves learning from different cultures, values his family and friends deeply, and finds joy in exploring and experiencing new things.

At my core, I’m someone who’s curious, grounded, and always seeking growth.
