Hi Marwah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi there! My name is Marwah, the owner of Marwah Gemstone! I am a jewelry designer who deeply adores creating gemstone jewelry. With that, I am a mother of two children, one girl and one boy, living with a lovely family. I greatly appreciate their contribution to this project and all that they have done for me.

It all started when I stumbled upon a beautiful piece of amethyst at a local market. I was immediately drawn to its stunning color and unique shape. I purchased some more gemstones and began making bracelets for myself and my friends. This is how my passion for creating gemstone bracelets was born. I love how each stone has its unique energy. In addition to starting my hobby, I bought a book to learn much more about gemstones.

My coworkers were also my main inspiration for starting a business and attending markets. Thus, in 2022, I started my small business in Seattle selling gemstone bracelets. I’ve attended many bazaars and markets, including the Uptown Antique Market, where I promoted my business for 2 years.

When I moved to Georgia in 2024, I had to update my business licenses and certifications. Since then, I have been attending markets in Atlanta, growing my business over time until I reached the status I am in now.

Also in Georgia, I officially launched my business website, with the help of my husband and daughter since its opening. My husband, Haider, is a professional photographer who has assisted me with designing the website and our handmade jewelry through his photography skills. The photos he takes truly capture the uniqueness of each jewelry piece. My daughter runs the website and stands alongside me all the time. Now, our website has over 800 products and is available in 2 languages: English and Arabic.

I ship my pieces worldwide to many countries, including England, Australia, Germany, Canada, the UAE, Iraq, and Qatar, as well as across the United States. Many diverse customers have come to me for my authentic gemstones and high-quality jewelry and order very frequently. One fun fact about our business is that once a customer receives their order, they come back again within the same week to order another.

I find great joy in creating exquisite jewelry and maintaining significant relationships with my customers. Every bracelet I make is crafted with love and care, and I hope whoever wears it feels the positive energy and love that went into making it. Our passion for creating gemstone jewelry shines through in every piece we make.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
At the beginning, it was a little hard finding our target audience online. However, after attending our first markets, we found the people and promoted our name. Fortunately, most of the time there were no other struggles or difficulties in building my business. I managed it with the help and support of my family. My husband has a Master’s Degree in business, and he gave me advice on how to run a business. We cooperated in creating this business!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a gemstone jewelry designer, making custom designs for everyone. I make authentic gemstone bracelets, rings, necklaces, Islamic Rosaries, and more, combining multiple gemstones in a single piece. I am most proud of establishing a successful business and maintaining strong customer relationships. What sets me apart from many jewelry designers is that my gemstones are all natural and original.
