Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Lombard.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Michael QLT Lombard is an American recording artist, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, and internationally recognized fashion designer. With a music career spanning decades, he has released records, built his own label, and worked with artists across both major and independent music.

Beyond music, Lombard became a globally recognized luxury fashion designer, producing runway shows in Paris, Milan, London, New York, Dubai, India, Kazakhstan, Cape Town, and other international fashion capitals. His work has been featured in leading publications including Vogue, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, L’Officiel, and Forbes, while also appearing on major television networks worldwide. In 2022, Lombard opened one of the biggest store in Dubai Mall fashion Avenue a few doors down from Louis Vuitton in Fashion Avenue.

Under the name Michael QLT Lombard, he returns to music with a sound that blends cinematic hip-hop, luxury lifestyle, and rockstar energy. His latest release, “Rockstar,” marks the beginning of a new era, combining the worlds of music and high fashion into one unmistakable brand.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being an African American celebrity fashion designer will always have its own baked in struggles but you have to stay focused and rise above the doubters.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a luxury fashion designer specializing in leather fabric, all types of designs that I create for people, athletes, musicians, store, runways all around the world on every continent.
Besides opening my store in Dubai I’m very proud of being a role model to other designers and models helping th achieve their goals.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I never had a mentor but I have mentored people.
