Conversations with Chas Bonner

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chas Bonner.

Hi Chas, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story is kind of weird lol. Content became a thing for me when i first moved to LA to pursue music in 2021 after high school. I wasn’t super consistent and was only making skits at the time to try and make people laugh. Until January 2022, my brother (Cory) had called me to see if i wanted to model in NYFW since a model had dropped. I was like “NEW YORK WHAT” lol. He had payed for my flight from LA to NY in February to meet up with him and do the show. I was extremely nervous and never thought i’d get into modeling or fashion. After i had walked i was asked to come back again, and was offered a contract to walk for someone else as well. For New York being my first ever fashion show and it was at gotham hall for hitechmoda, it was a super big stage and i had met the bar and just had continued the journey. Where i’m at today was never guaranteed but was blessed with the opportunities. Now i’m sponsored by a few brands, have modeled for big time brands and people, and have became a natural face in the market. And now i stream and just show people that some models aren’t “stuck up” we are just as normal and the person next to us.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some roads are bumpy, some roads are smooth, just depends on how your drive is. I’ve definitely had some challenges along the way i feel that i created myself. In high school i was bullied and kind of outcasted because i was trying to fit in, instead of being myself and having the right people fit in around me. I would lie sometimes showing a life i wanted to people instead of the life i had creating an image instead of being proud of the painting I was blessed with. After high school and getting into content i was able to be myself thanks to my friends in college because it gave me a restart and nobody knew me yet. Once i started modeling I knew this was me and everything i wanted to do. Content has boomed for me since 2024 and was thriving, but sadly in 2025 my mom had passed from breast cancer. It took me a year to really think about what i wanted to do with the rest of my life. I knew as long as i’m me, i’m successful. Promised my mom’s.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Of course! So I model, stream, do youtube and just got into acting last year. I specialize in modeling and acting! I’m more known for modeling though since I’ve been modeling for about 4-5 years now. I’m hoping acting takes the top front of that though layer through the years. I’m most proud of being able to finally stick to something as long and be consistent with it, because consistency is the hardest thing into any profession. I’m also most proud of being able to say i’ve walked in many top fashion shows across the world. The thing that sets me apart from others is my name. Everyone has a gift, talent, certain profession, and different characteristics that makes them…them! I’m no different than the person next to me.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory is when me and all my brothers (5) would sneak up in my parents room in the middle of the night with snacks and drinks and force a movie night on the weekends in the one bed LOL. We’d watch our favorite movies or our sports highlights and just enjoy ourselves.
