Hidden Gems: Meet Sheldon Doyle of Top Spot Properties LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sheldon Doyle.

Hi Sheldon, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was a former social worker who specifically specialized in housing the homeless. I saw that was not working, so I decided to solve the issues with my own hands. I bought a house and renting out the rooms that I lived with. Now, four years later, I have a co-living room rental business

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
A lot of the obstacles have been the logistics and work that comes with it. Learning about everything that comes with owning a house. From lenders and interest rates, to Maintenance and dealing with tenants

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Top Spot Properties LLC?
At Top Spot Properties, we do more than rent out rooms, we own them. As direct property owners, we take pride in offering well-maintained, quality housing with responsive service and a personal touch. By eliminating the middleman, we deliver smoother communication, faster maintenance, and a more reliable experience for our residents. We also bring that same care to new landlords, providing full property management services from tenant placement and background checks to ongoing support, so their rooms get rented out quickly and professionally.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up wise, I always wanted to try new things and give these new things. Max effort. I always shot to be great and helping people. In that I’ve gained many different interest; ranging from Chess and swimming to football and video games
