Inspiring Conversations with Be The Difference Clothing of Be The Difference

Today we’d like to introduce you to Be The Difference Clothing.

Hi Be The Difference, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Joy and I print for Be The Difference. It’s a brand that aims to inspire through written messages on clothing. The messages are as simple as “Hard Work pays Off” or as complex as “Addiction Kills the Family”. All in all, each printed message opens much needed conversation within our homes and community. We dress from infancy to adults.

Where it all began is simple! I went from managing a christian rap artist to going to the gym 7days a week. Listening to my gut by posting my shortcoming of eating all types of cookies, candy and ice creams after a hard workout on social media. With that admission came the challenge of creating the message into a t-shirt. Once I figured out all of the tools needed, it was only right to incorporate and become a voice of inspiration through various designs.

Fast forward to present day, I self-published 7 quote books through Be The Difference and we now service companies, schools, churches production companies, the local community and so many others.

The slogan is “It’s Not Just Clothing … It’s a Way of Life!” Thanks to Be The Difference, I hold myself accountable to being the best version of myself whenever I can.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When you have a company that aims to do the opposite of what people believe is impossible it’s always rough. One of our main struggles is visibility. When more people learn and trust the brand, we will be able to have a steady flow of repeat clients. We are absolutely grateful to still be in business after all of these years. The pivot is inevitable! So whether we struggle or not, we are still standing

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Be The Difference ?
The main thing that sets us apart is our customer service. We aim to exceed all of our clients expectations. When you shop or hire us to print or embroider, we want you to feel appreciated and respected. As a reminder, we provide print on demand, embroidery, dropshipping and DTF transfers. So not only do we print for the brand we also print and provide the same quality for you.

The one thing that makes me proud, is we are STIIL STANDING! Growth may be slow and steady, but we’re still standing! Sometimes people rob us of services, but we’re still standing! etc… we’re still standing!

We believe, once you see and understand our value, you’ll always choose to return for more shopping or printing services.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Never allow statistics to determine your growth. You can be aware of them but as long as you’re moving within your purpose, you will always be aligned. Learned to separate business and personal. When you are self-employed, working is 24hrs but it’s fun and always rewarding. Leaving a legacy worth carrying on is more important than the numbers in the bank. Most important, NEVER GIVE UP! The breakthrough is always right when you’re about to give up.
