Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Amauri Davis of Douglasville

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Amauri Davis . Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Amauri , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? Who are you learning from right now?
My greatest teacher right now is my son. Through him, I’m learning patience, gratitude, and unconditional love. Each day, I grow alongside him becoming not just a better role model, but a better version of myself.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Amauri Davis, and I am an entrepreneur, mom, business owner, and student. I am the founder of B-Nourish, a company that creates organic, vegan hair products designed to grow and nurture healthy hair. Our line includes a versatile hair oil that also works as a beard oil and is compatible with all hair types, as well as our Black Cherry Hair Mask made with real cherries—with many more products to come. Our goal is to combine natural fruits, vegetables, and pure ingredients to achieve healthy, thriving hair. No processed chemicals. No inconsistent results. I created these products not only for myself, but also to help others overcome alopecia, hair loss, postpartum shedding, balding, thinning, and damaged hair. My mission is to restore confidence in the natural hair community.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
My mother has been my greatest teacher when it comes to work and perseverance. She showed me the meaning of strength and taught me to go after everything I desire in life. Her constant push to be my best has shaped who I am today. I’ve watched her conquer challenges and rise above every battle with grace and determination. From her, I learned that true hard work always leads to the results you seek.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
To my younger self: Give yourself grace. This is your very first time living, and every step is part of learning. Stay focused, nurture yourself the way you care for others, and never forget to love yourself deeply. Walk with confidence beyond measure, because you are worthy of everything you dream of.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I think my close friends would describe me as passionate and protective someone who loves deeply and stands strong for the people I care about. I may be a little impulsive, but my heart is always sweet, giving, and full of love.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I would immediately stop caring about people’s feelings and opinions and just live my life whole heartedly.
