Daded, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
The experiences that work is bringing me. Life overall. That’s what’s bringing me joy lately. Oh and all the great video games coming out

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
What’s going on guys, It’s your boy Daded, Co-founder, CEO of Rated Our Music. Atlantas favorite hiphop culture media agency. Me and my brother Kodak ( Atlantahoodhistorian ) are constantly out in the streets of Atlanta capturing every hiphop moment possible, underground and mainstream. We are your favorite rappers favorite people to hang out with. We do so much more behind the scenes you just gotta tune in.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Hey man, you cool as hell. You’re too cool, don’t let this world make you think you have to do A B and C or follow this or that person to be cool. Just be you, be genuine, be honest with who you are and embrace it

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That everyone in the industry got money! That’s not true at all. But the pictures that get painted make it seem like that’s the case. That and a lot of the money isn’t good money. Don’t let that go over your head

A story of a god loving man, not a perfect man. A simple man in a complex world. A man with dreams like any other person. But a man that chose to chase the dreams no matter how hard it was. A man that’s just like the man in the mirror.
