Joseph, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Absolutely! First off, I love to laugh and love to make people laugh. So I laugh all the time. Secondly, what I am most proud of recently is our web series called DECISIONS that we released in January of this year. This series was the biggest project we have ever worked on so far, and it took us 2-3 years to film. As of today the series has over or close to 20k views on YouTube! All praise to the most high God, the wonderful cast & the people who supported the project!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We are King Joe Entertainment, where imagination takes center stage and every moment is made to entertain! We’re a creative powerhouse fueled by bold ideas, big energy, and a deep passion for storytelling. From live events to digital media, music, film, and everything in between, we turn ordinary into unforgettable. We don’t just create entertainment, we craft experiences that resonate, inspire, and connect. What sets us apart is our unique blend of creativity, precision, and passion. Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
Simple, my relationship with my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ! Without him, I’ll be like a ship without a sail in the middle of the ocean in a severe thunderstorm with hurricanes and tornadoes. Just a mess and in trouble. He saved me more times than i can count. He’s given me joy and confidence in life, that i knew i would’ve been depressed in. Our relationship is growing stronger every day, I’m steady growing and learning in life, and he keeps on doing great things for me. So my message is CHOOSE CHRIST for yourselves, you wont be disappointed.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
When i was 25 years old, i had no money, no job, and i had a family to support & a house to keep up. Life was getting to me in the worst way, to the point where i contemplated suicide and almost finished the assignment. Until Jesus came and saved me.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That overnight success is real. When we all know that it’s an illusion that artists, actors, influencers, or creatives “made it big” suddenly, as if they went from obscurity to fame overnight. In reality, most “overnight successes” are the result of years of unseen work: grinding, failing, training, networking, rejections, and reinvention.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Most definitely! Because my foundation for why I’m doing this doesn’t rely on people. Jesus gave me these gifts, so I use them for him. Everything else (fans, money, notoriety, fame) will fall into place. A lot of times in the film industry, we’ve experienced this even today. No matter what level of professionalism you are on, there is always going to be someone who is going to reject your work.
