We’re looking forward to introducing you to Kendrick Webber. Check out our conversation below.
Kendrick, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
For years, I’ve been dedicated to working out, but it wasn’t until I made a conscious effort to change my eating habits and commit to regular gym sessions that I truly began to feel the joy of my fitness journey.
Staying consistent has not only improved my physical health but has also brought a sense of accomplishment and happiness that I never expected. Each workout feels like a step towards my goals, and every healthy meal is a choice that fuels my body and mind.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello, I’m Kendrick Webber, and I’ve been fortunate enough to run my own film company for the past fifteen years. Throughout this journey, I’ve witnessed the film industry evolve in remarkable ways, from technological advancements to shifts in audience preferences.
As the landscape continues to change, I realized it was time to go back to the drawing board and rebrand my company. Here’s why I believe rebranding is essential for staying relevant:
Adapting to New Trends: The film industry is constantly evolving, and staying in tune with current trends is crucial. By rebranding, I can align my company’s vision with the latest developments in storytelling, technology, and audience engagement.
Refreshing Our Identity: After years in the business, it’s easy to fall into a routine. Rebranding allows me to refresh our identity, ensuring that it reflects our core values while also appealing to a new generation of filmmakers and audiences.
Connecting with Our Audience: Understanding who our audience is today is vital. A rebrand gives us the opportunity to connect with them on a deeper level, showcasing the stories that resonate with their experiences and interests.
Innovating Our Offerings: With a fresh brand comes the chance to innovate. I’m excited to explore new genres, formats, and collaborations that push the boundaries of traditional filmmaking.
Staying Competitive: In a competitive industry, a strong brand can set us apart. By rebranding, I aim to position my company as a leader in creativity and innovation, attracting new talent and partnerships.
As I embark on this rebranding journey, I’m filled with excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead. I look forward to sharing this evolution with you all and continuing to create compelling stories that inspire and entertain.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
Growing up, I was surrounded by friends and family who had nice things, and I couldn’t help but be curious about how they achieved their success. This curiosity sparked a desire in me to understand the value of hard work and determination.
Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, the principles of diligence and ambition were embedded in me from a young age. I learned that success doesn’t come easy; it requires commitment, resilience, and a willingness to put in the effort.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There have been several moments in my journey when I felt like giving up. It’s easy to throw in the towel when faced with challenges, but I’ve always believed that giving up is the easy way out. I never wanted to be seen as a failure, and that thought has fueled my determination to push through. Instead of succumbing to the temptation to quit, I chose to dedicate myself to staying focused on my goals.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
If you were to ask my closest friends about what matters most to me, they would undoubtedly say family. Coming from a large, close-knit family, I’ve learned that the bonds we share are invaluable. Family isn’t just an important part of my life; it’s the foundation of who I am. Growing up surrounded by loved ones taught me the significance of loyalty and support.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
For me, the moments I feel most at peace are when I take the time to be alone with my thoughts. In these quiet moments, I can reflect on my journey and contemplate the next steps I need to take to focus on my goals.
