Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Reverend Dr. E Eversen Bevelle

Reverend Dr. E Eversen Bevelle shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Eversen, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
Being present. People are struggling with being present rooted in this moment. So concerned about where they weren’t and so anxious about what’s to come.
Life is lived through moments, if your not paying attention you’ll miss one of the best moments of your history because you weren’t present. I encourage people to experience the right now. Not as way to be careless but rather a way to understand that if all we have is this moment and you’re happy then you’re living a good life.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I love people. My product has always been people. I make people live in this moment to have a great time. To laugh and love in the now. Joy comes early in the morning which is why I wake them up with my Good morning song. I don’t want to give them a chance to have bad day so I start it Good.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Kirk Glass saw me before I could see myself. I was and have always been entertaining and in entertainment. However through his eyes he said “hey this is you! You are this. That is your Job!” He is the reason i came to sea and have been able to touch over a million hearts and minds this past decade.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering has always gifted me with success. Once I realized that this is only a moment which means I don’t don’t have to stay here. I would find the way out of that suffering. Working through it is one of the greatest opportunities I have. Suffering successes I carry with me. You do have to remind yourself tho that hey I can change this.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
I have been fortunate to wake up and be myself in every avenue I’ve worked in. People said “,hey we like you. We like how you make us feel. We want to pay you just to be yourself for people who need your energy” with or without a mic or show I create good energy that energizes the flow.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Hiding from the world. I have so much more to show and I want the world to see. I want the little fat boys who are told they have too much energy they think to fast talk to much. That you will achieve great things. Master yourself so you can share your gift with the world people need your light. They need your rhythm.
