Today we’d like to introduce you to Chuck Acid.

Hi Chuck, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started taking music seriously after a near death experience. It helped me realize that if I died at that time, there would be nothing I could say I left behind or contributed to this life. I wasn’t okay with that feeling. My music is my receipt/ proof that I was here. I put out my first ep in 2017 and the rest is history.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Loosing Nevan (producer of the projects “The Nev Sessions pt. 1 & 2”) was and is the biggest challenge I’ve experienced on this journey. To find someone as passionate as you about your music is rare; loosing that person suddenly is a form of spiritual torture. It’s always ups and downs but loosing someone is like getting knocked to the side, it stops any motivation to move forward. Still, for bro, we get up and take the step anyway.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I produce beats, write all my records, and I’m the best performer in the planet earth. With that being said, I really specialize in bringing people together to make and create. I hate creating by myself; it’s how I started on my music path. As a fan of music, I know no great artist is an island. The best art comes from taking the ego out and asking for help.
