Meet Aaron Bryant of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Bryant.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story started in a small town called Gordon, Georgia, in Wilkinson County, where I grew up playing rec league football with my childhood friends and family. At the time, I had no idea where football would eventually take me. When I moved to the south side of Atlanta for high school, things really started to take off. I developed as a player, earned five Division I scholarship offers, and had the opportunity to pursue football at the collegiate level.

One of the biggest lessons I learned early was how important it is to have the right guidance. I went through my recruiting process largely on my own and didn’t really understand all the steps involved. That led me to Reinhardt University as a true freshman, and eventually I transferred to Ohio State as a preferred walk-on. From there, another unexpected turn led me to Georgia Military College, where I was finally awarded a scholarship opportunity. I also received a scholarship from Georgia State University, but before I ever got the chance to strap up and play, I tore my ACL and MCL.

That injury forced me to look at my life beyond football. I graduated with my business degree and started exploring my field of study, building businesses and figuring out what I wanted my future to look like. Around 2019, while I was still in college, I became interested in trading. I started studying the markets, losing money, learning from those losses, and trying to understand what it would actually take to become successful.

Eventually, I built a global trading network of more than 5,000 people. It took months of studying, failing, adjusting, and staying persistent before I really started to understand the potential of what I was building. I began to see a different kind of life for myself—one where I could create financial freedom and have more control over my time.

That persistence eventually brought me back to football, but on an international level.

In 2023, I signed with the Wuppertal Greyhounds in Germany. That first overseas experience was definitely a learning experience, to say the least. The contract and situation weren’t what I expected, but it taught me a lot about navigating professional football independently and understanding my own value.

Midway through that season, I made a move to Porvoo, Finland, to play for the Porvoo Butchers. That ended up being one of the most rewarding moments of my football career. We went on to win the 2023 Maple League Championship, which meant becoming the best team in the country. That experience showed me what can happen when you stay ready even when circumstances don’t go according to plan.

In 2024, I returned to Germany to play for the Marburg Mercenaries. I had one of the best individual seasons of my career, finishing as one of the league’s leading tacklers with over 100 tackles. It was another reminder that the work I had put in over the years was translating on the field.

Then in 2025, I took another leap and went to Belo Horizonte, Brazil, to play for Galo Futebol Americano. Unfortunately, during the beginning of the second game of the season, I tore the ACL in my other knee. After already battling through my first major knee injury years earlier, having it happen again was another major setback.

But by that point, I had learned something about myself: a setback doesn’t get to decide what happens next.

Being overseas also gave me the opportunity to focus more on trading, business, and building my life outside of football. Football opened the door for me to see the world, but the bigger goal became building something that could continue long after my playing career.

And that’s where I am today. I’m still building. Football is a huge part of my story, but it isn’t the entire story. I’m focused on trading, entrepreneurship, content creation, faith, and building a life that gives me freedom while creating opportunities for other people as well.

I’ve had plenty of moments where things didn’t go according to plan—from navigating recruiting largely on my own, to injuries, changing schools, difficult contracts, moving across countries, and starting over more than once. But every chapter has taught me something different.

I’m still in the middle of the journey, and that’s what makes it exciting. I haven’t stopped dreaming.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Honestly, some of the biggest lessons in my life have come from the moments when things didn’t go according to plan.

One of my earliest struggles was navigating my football recruiting process largely on my own. I had five Division I scholarship offers, but I didn’t really understand how to navigate the process or what steps I needed to take. That led me through several different schools and situations before eventually finding my way to Georgia Military College and earning an opportunity with Georgia State. Then, before I could even play, I tore my ACL and MCL.

I had to learn how to deal with disappointment and uncertainty while figuring out what my life looked like beyond football. That’s when graduating with my business degree, building businesses, and getting serious about trading became so important to me.

Even after getting overseas, things weren’t always easy. My first contract in Germany in 2023 was a difficult experience, and I had to learn how to advocate for myself and keep moving when a situation wasn’t what I expected. I ended up making a mid-season move to Finland, where we won the Maple League Championship. That experience taught me that sometimes what feels like a setback is simply redirecting you toward another opportunity.

Then in 2025, I went to Brazil and tore the ACL in my other knee during the beginning of the second game of the season. Having already gone through an ACL and MCL injury, experiencing another major knee injury was one of the hardest things I’ve dealt with.

But I think the biggest struggle has been learning not to let one chapter convince me that it’s the end of the story. I’ve had to constantly reinvent myself, whether that’s through football, business, trading, or content creation.

I’ve learned that resilience isn’t about never getting knocked down. It’s about continuing to build when you do. Every setback has forced me to become more disciplined, more independent, and more intentional about the life I’m trying to create.

So no, it hasn’t been smooth—but honestly, I don’t think I’d want it to be. The difficult parts have shaped the person I’m becoming, and I’m still building. I’m not finished yet.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My work today is really an extension of everything I’ve experienced so far. I’m a professional athlete, entrepreneur, trader, and content creator, and I’m focused on building a life that goes beyond what I’ve already accomplished in football.

Through Bear.Billions, I’m building a personal brand centered around entrepreneurship, trading, financial growth, lifestyle, and the journey of becoming the person I believe I’m capable of becoming. I’m especially passionate about trading because I got into it while I was still in college, spent years studying and learning from my mistakes, and eventually built a global trading network of more than 5,000 people. I’m still learning and developing, but I want to document that journey rather than pretend I have everything figured out.

I’m also known for being an athlete who has taken an unconventional path. I’ve played football in Germany, Finland, and Brazil, and I’ve had to adapt to different environments, cultures, teams, and circumstances. Those experiences have taught me independence, discipline, resilience, and how to keep moving when things don’t go according to plan.

What I’m most proud of isn’t one specific accomplishment. It’s the fact that I’ve continued to reinvent myself. I’ve gone from a kid playing rec league football in a small town in Georgia, to playing internationally, earning a business degree, building businesses, developing myself in trading, and now building a brand around my experiences.

What sets me apart is that I’m not trying to put myself into one box. I’m an athlete, but I’m also a businessman. I’m interested in finance, but I also care about creativity and storytelling. I understand what it’s like to work toward something for years and have it fall apart, then have to start rebuilding.

I’m building in real time, and I’m not afraid to show the process. I think there’s power in letting people see the journey—not just the finished product. My goal is to keep learning, keep building, and ultimately create a life where I have control over my time, my work, and my future.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I think there’s a big difference between taking a risk and being reckless. To me, risk is about being willing to step into uncertainty when you believe the potential opportunity is worth it—but doing your homework and understanding what you’re getting yourself into.

I’ve taken quite a few major risks throughout my life. One of the biggest was leaving what was familiar and taking football overseas. In 2023, I went to Germany to play professionally, not knowing exactly how the experience would turn out. That first contract wasn’t what I expected, and I eventually made a mid-season move to Finland. That risk ended up leading to one of the highlights of my football career when we won the 2023 Maple League Championship with the Porvoo Butchers.

Going to Brazil in 2025 was another major risk. I moved across the world to pursue another opportunity in football, and unfortunately I tore my ACL in the second game of the season. Obviously, that’s not the outcome I wanted, but I don’t regret taking the opportunity. It was another experience that taught me how quickly circumstances can change and how important it is to have something bigger than one opportunity.

Getting into trading was probably one of my biggest risks financially. I started in 2019 while I was still in college. I spent months studying, making mistakes, and losing money before I really started understanding the markets. I wasn’t going to become successful overnight, and I had to be willing to stay committed through the part where there wasn’t much evidence that things were going to work out.

I’ve learned that calculated risk requires preparation, patience, and the willingness to accept that failure is possible. You can’t control every outcome, but you can control how prepared you are, how you respond, and whether you’re willing to try again.

I think that’s ultimately how I approach life. I’m willing to bet on myself. Sometimes that means taking the road that isn’t guaranteed, because I’ve realized that the safest decision isn’t always the decision that moves you forward.

For me, risk isn’t about chasing uncertainty. It’s about refusing to let the fear of uncertainty keep me from pursuing the life I believe I’m capable of building.
