Good morning Patrick, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is a normal day like for you right now?

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m an actor, stand in, and stuntman. My brand is my self, Patrick Young Jr. My brand is unique because it’s under different umbrellas. I’ve helped co-produce a film called back home with Hoodbabys Films and Maverick films. I’ve also cast it for back home on Tubi. While booking a core gang member on P valley season three still hasn’t released a release date yet but will be dropping end of year 2025. I’ve also appeared on for my Man TV one season nine episode two blinded by love JULY 2025.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
I don’t think I ever had that feeling I think I’m working towards it now. By chasing my dreams and being on a bigger platform and being able to employ the people around me like family etc. and helping the people when I say the people I mean all people ..
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I almost gave up this year after being Laid off At Old Lady Gang than Fired from Fedex for leaving boxes by a dumpster, than fired from Gus Famous Fried Chicken without my last week of pay. It put me in a bind. Thank god for Unemployment and Ebt and the state of GA. I got thru it and in the messed of all that I booked a Stand In Utility job for the #3 on a hit BET show called Diarra from Detroit for 3 months. So I just took that as a sign that I’m supposed to be here in the film industry Acting. Praying for a role on Diarra from Detroit While standing in. I’ll updates yall on the next article if I get a role.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That you need take Classes … I have a masterclass by standing in and watching a list actors work. I always people watch it helps me with character development. Don’t waste your money on classes that don’t land you an agent after that you graduate pretty much. You should be out finding work. I recommend getting a coach to coach you for upcoming roles that you book.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people can say I left a legacy behind for my family/ kids. I hope people can say that I left behind a foundation that helps the world and people advance. I hope people will say that i was a pioneer that traveled from Virginia to far lands to find fortune in Atlanta where Patrick Young Jr took off to be A BIG Actor and Provided for his family.
