Today we’d like to introduce you to Adonis Blackwood.

Hi Adonis, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started a full service production company in 2018 called Donis Studios that has now been rebranded to Frame Lock Media. Over the years of developing this company it has grown exponentially offering a wide range of services to include but is not limited to short films, documentaries, social media content, events, music videos, commercials, government contracting and much more. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service to our clients and are looking forward to continuous growth in the future.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There has been many challenges along the way as this is a natural part of entrepreneurship. Cold emails with no replies, had to take terrible deals just to pay bills and sustain the business but none of these things will beat perseverance, as long as you continue to do good work and deliver great customer service, it is highly likely that you’ll make it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a camera operator and director by trade. I specialize in taking a story from concept and to completion. I have approximately 7 years as a Camera Operator and 5 years as a director. What sets me apart is my ability to really understand my clients and what consumers need and create something that bridges the gap between the two.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Im happy to just create and be living my dream of being a creative.
