Sam Rose of Georgia on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Sam Rose shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Sam, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is a normal day like for you right now?
“Good morning star shine! The Earth says hello!” Is my eye opening mantra full of the immediate spark of joy and gratitude to wake up another day. I make my way out of bed drinking a full glass of water that was left on my nightstand. There’s a subtle shift from my bed to the plush pink chair in the corner of the room that is intended for reading and meditation. This is where my day starts, in stillness and prayer. Here is where I calibrate my frequency before anything external.

As the day unfolds, I move with precision. I’m doing 3 things only. Creating, connecting, or simply resting. Being a serial entrepreneur I’ve learned that my work is rooted in soul clarity. I often imagine being perceived through my daily process may be mystical. However, each motion is practically creating the grounds and foundation for my daily task aligned with birthing my dreams: projecting the timeline of community projects for clients, guiding others, reading energy, tending to my garden, or collapsing timelines in the gym, then taking my evening stroll in the near by forest.

The Afternoons are for integration, not burnout. Clearing my mind from reflecting or projecting. This is when my mind slows down for the day as the sunsets in between the trees releasing what isn’t mine. Rewriting my decisions in my journal to adjust who I am accordingly.

Evenings are the most sacred part of my daily rituals, this is when I eat a whole meal full of passion and classical jazz. The moments before I romanticize a warm bath to decompress my body and prepare for a sweet dream and fruitful day tomorrow.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Samantha Rose is a healer, creative, and entrepreneur whose life’s work blooms at the intersection of wellness, spirituality, and culture. She is the founder of Rose Sanctuary, a community rooted in restorative retreats, nature-based healing, and sacred connection, and the visionary behind Rose Agency, a boutique digital marketing firm helping spas and wellness brands grow with elegance and authenticity.

What makes Samantha’s journey compelling is the way she carries her personal story of resilience, motherhood, and spiritual awakening into every space she creates. Her retreats and events—such as the Bloom Retreat series—are not only curated with beauty and care but are expressions of her belief that rest, intimacy, and transformation are essential for a full life.

Currently, Samantha is stepping into a new chapter: returning to school to earn her Doctorate in Hypnotherapy, engaging with stakeholders to develop her garden grounds for restorative healing, and privately expanding her Vitality Retreats through Rose Agency to serve leaders in the film, sports, tech, medical, and law industries. Outside of her businesses, she is embracing a life of simplicity—choosing daily practices that attract richer experiences of deep intimacy, love, and connection.

One thing everyone should know about Samantha Rose is that her work is not just an enterprising empire or idolization it is about designing spaces where people feel safe enough to shed illusions, return to themselves, and experience the beauty of being alive. Getting back to the fundamentals and beauty of life.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was traditionally raised woven within artistry rooted in the strength of my ancestors, yet free in my expression. Even now, my path is guided not by expectation, but by Allah within, who reminds me that my truest self is both grounded and creative, sacred and ever-evolving. Starting from my mother’s garden to flourishing in liberated creativity and intuitive intelligence just as an uncompromising child who believes she can fly into the constellations and be one with the stars.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me what success never could that the worth of my soul is measured not by circumstance, but by the purpose I create here. Through bullying, teenage pregnancy, the complexities of being biracial, homelessness, and three near-death experiences, I discovered resilience, accountability, and the unwavering truth that the universes mercy carries us through what we cannot bear alone. Success showed me achievement, but suffering revealed friendships, power, trust, strength, care and the depth of unconditional love both spiritual and flawed human love. Each breath I’m grateful trial was shaping me to live with a calm faith, not perfection.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is real, but it isn’t the whole of me. What people see online -my work in wellness, retreats, and creative expression is true, but it’s only one layer. The deeper parts of me live in quiet moments of simply existing without care of being witnessed. I believe that authenticity doesn’t mean giving the world everything it means letting what I do share be genuine, and keeping sacred what belongs between me, the universe, and those I love. Just like the secrets, supernatural, and mystics of nature.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I’m not trying to save the world or be remembered; It is beyond me what I’m here for so my credit means little in the grand scheme. I’m thankful to the souls who will carry my flame on a torch or be sparked on their own path. I often contemplate stepping back from the public eye entirely, choosing instead to be fully present in the now. What matters to me is leaving insight, wisdom, and an empowering perspective for the next generation, helping them navigate life with clarity, resilience, and heart.
