We recently had the chance to connect with brandon suggs and have shared our conversation below.
brandon, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Traveling brings me joy doing a lot of work it’s nice to relax and get away from your daily activities
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Brandon Suggs I’m the owner of live life half price gives a non-profit that focuses on children and the homeless population. What’s makes us unique as we believe in enjoying the work that we do in the community. We are like a family and treat those that we serve like family
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
How people perceive you is more important than how you perceive yourself. My perception has changed as I become older how I see myself, believe in myself and push past any obstacles is more important. People views of you will change depending on what they think you should be but you have to be grounded and have a foundation of what makes you
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
It taught me once you hit the bottom you have no other choice but to go up. And to know that suffering doesn’t last but it’s a part of a journey that builds you to last
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
I don’t have a public version of me what you see is what you get. I’m loving, bluntly honest, giving and conservative at the same time. I try to be as genuine as possible
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What will you regret not doing?
Finding my purpose sooner I felt that I wasted many years of my youth being in the clubs and just working a nine to five. Now that I’m older I found my passions and even though I’m walking in them I feel that I would be more successful if I would have started earlier.
