Story & Lesson Highlights with Cherae Leri’

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Cherae Leri’. Check out our conversation below.

Cherae, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
My mornings look nothing like they used to—thankful for that. They’ve become slower, softer, & drenched in intention. I wake up where the birds sing louder than my thoughts or howling monkeys remind me that rain is near, and the air itself feels like therapy. It’s the kind of peace I used to pray for in between flights and deadlines, and now it greets me before my feet even touch the floor. I light incense, sage, and I allow the sunlight to kiss my skin through my linen curtains right before headed to my meditational area or patio, and a kind of silence that reminds me I’m safe to just be. That space has allowed me to fully embrace my healing—what I call Her Soft Era. It’s been the most beautiful chapter of my life so far.

But it wasn’t always this way. My mornings used to start in survival mode if I allowed it & sometimes it was then out of my control—led by people, projects, and problems that didn’t deserve my rising energy. Now, I’m led by stillness. Understanding and allowing for my boundaries to just be that MY boundaries. By gratitude. By beauty. It’s wild how relocation can change your rhythm. Let’s just say… peace feels different when you wake up abroad. – Cherae

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Cherae Leri — a frequency bender, a curator of moments, a soul quietly in motion. You may have seen me before — on stages, pages, interviews — but this chapter? It’s not the same story retold. Now, I’m in a space of unfolding. My music is softer now, more curious; my voice is carrying echoes of healing and exploration. I’m blending the known with whispers of the unknown — stepping into new landscapes (yes, even new skies). What I offer now isn’t just a song, but an invitation: to walk with me into what’s next. What you see here is only the beginning of this edition of me, and in the shadows lie the surprises yet to be revealed.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My husband simple and plain. I know I have eagle eye, but he has always had the eyes and keys to me that I never gave him in this lifetime. And when you experience being seen in that way, that manner, that source of energy it changes everything else that the world programmed you to be or believe unintentionally or intentionally. although I am sharing this very sacred truth about myself, I must sadly be the messenger to say everyone this lifetime won’t be as fortunate if they don’t do the shadow work to even allow anyone to see you in the depth of what I am describing.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
I remember that era vividly — 2019 through 2021. It taught me that external validation holds no real power when you’re internally suffering. It didn’t matter who courted me, what my bank account looked like, or what accolades I was stacking up. I was grateful, sure — but I finally understood that when everything around you starts to crumble, when even systems and governments begin to dismantle, your Gucci shirt and red bottoms aren’t what you reach for on the battlefield.

When it’s time to fight for your peace of mind, your family’s safety, and your stability — those things become the furthest from importance. Because when the ground beneath you isn’t stable, no label, no title, no applause can hold you up. Only truth, faith, and love can. I regained my clarity again; I began to see what my fight and what energy I should have kept or what energy did not belong to me and needed to be released. My boundaries started becoming clear again, and it led me to clean house.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That talents and real stories don’t matter or are needed. Biggest lie told in our game til this day, & as you can see it shows when we divert to far from authenticity the world as we know it becomes a fog and unclear to the mind or eye.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
The value of peace of mind. Rest is power, health is really wealth, time is priceless, and energy is real. I understand how fragile everything we call “security” really is — and how beautiful it can be when you stop clinging to it. Most people believe stability comes from titles, money, or applause. I’ve learned, sometimes the hard way, that those things are just the décor. The real foundation is invisible — your peace, your spirit, your faith, your ability to create beauty no matter where you land.
When you’ve lived through the dismantling of your comfort zones, you start to see how little control we actually have over the external, and how much power we hold over our internal. It changes the way you move. You stop fighting for appearances and start fighting for what’s eternal. That’s a kind of freedom most people never touch — and it’s the very thing that keeps me grounded, even as everything else shifts. Most people chase after security outside of themselves, but I’ve learned it can all disappear in a blink. What remains is your spirit, your resilience, and your willingness to keep choosing peace even when nothing around you looks peaceful.

It’s like a secret code: when you stop measuring life by appearances and start measuring it by alignment, you realize how unshakable you actually are.
