Hi Dylan M, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I am most proud of myself for building a foundation within myself that follows Jesus and God, works hard, and tries to always think of ways that I can expand my brand/ myself in a positive way every day.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Dylan M. Beck, and I am the founder & owner of One ‘with the sea’ Clothing/ Accessories (海と一緒に). Starting with my first pair of tie dye socks in middle school, I was always interested in making clothing myself and others could enjoy. The name ‘with the sea’ originated from my first name ‘Dylan’ which means ‘son of the sea’. I decided to make the logo ‘with the sea’ Japanese because I have always found interest in the Japanese culture. I visited Tokyo, Japan in 2024 where I explored Japanese fashion, and spoke to Japanese translators who were able to confirm that my clothing logo means ‘with the sea’. I want to make clothing for everyone, no matter their race/ gender. I think colors and fashion create a healthy culture, and I believe art is peace.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Believe in yourself. Do not be afraid to make mistakes because that is how you learn. Think about smart decisions then make them.
