Lutoyua , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Preparing myself for an engaging broadcast, heading to the radio station to deliver a captivating show to listeners on my midday shift starting at 9a.m.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m ToyToy a radio personality and a southern soul artist, who goes by the name The Southern Soul Vixen ToyToy. Born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama the oldest of four children I developed a strong appreciation for the power of music. My natural talent and dedication led me to become a thriving on-air radio personality on WJWZ 97.9 JAMZ mid-days and evenings on WQKS HD2 100.5 Classic Jamz. My passion for music is what drives my success in the southern soul music genre, I have garnered and attained some remarkable accolades with my music, on air recognition and also earned recognitions with my nonprofit Fedmoms Support Group Organization. I am working to build a music catalog that my fans will enjoy and listen to for years to come and establish a legacy for my kids and family.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
I faced a transformative challenge when I served 18 months in a federal prison for tax-related issues, an experience that profoundly reshaped my life and perspective, ultimately revealing new opportunities for growth and renewal.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
You’re capable of achieving everything you’ve ever envisioned, and so much more. Your worth and lovability are boundless and undeniable.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that I’m driven by profound commitment to loyalty, love, family, and trust.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I believe that when my time on this earth comes to an end, people will remember me as a compassionate, generous, and authentic individual who made a positive impact on those around me.
