We recently had the chance to connect with Tiffany Tillman and have shared our conversation below.
Tiffany, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Yes, I recently premiered my first movie in Macon, Ga! A lot of time and work went into this project.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a newly established Executive Producer, Director & Screen Writer. Prior to working on my first movie, Tru’s Click. I provided management and life coaching services to new and upcoming artists.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Generally one or both parties maturing from their former selves. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but unprocessed emotions can linger and cause confusion, resulting in a fallout. As we grow older into our identities and purpose our way of thinking changes. Therefore the things we once enjoyed or found to be okay, doesn’t appease us anymore. Normally, a healthy, calm conversation to find a compromise will restore the relationship.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Continue being your authentic self Tiffany, somebody has to be blueprint. Trends are made by leaders.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the person that I portray is the person that I am, however what I show to the public is extremely minimal. The people closest to me, know the things that are important to me.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What light inside you have you been dimming?
I’ve dimmed my creativity light for various reasons but it’s temporary. I realized the type of projects that I plan to work on will require extensive resources and proper planning. I’m currently already working to mainstream one of those projects. I want to ensure they aren’t rushed or poorly executed.
