Today we’d like to introduce you to Davia Hawkins.

Hi Davia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story started off with a dream of course, we all have dreams of doing SOMETHING we love or just something that could bring yourself or someone else joy… Some people just sit on their dreams or set them to the side waiting on nothing, and others go after those dreams. I’m one who went and is still going after everything I dreamt or dream of. Since a young child, I always knew I wanted something to call my own. My own Money Maker… I used to pretend I worked for myself as a child playing in my room. It didn’t matter what it was I loved Fashion and beauty. The goal was to make something of my own for myself, my own brand. While lots of other kids couldn’t wait to turn 16 to get their first job, I wanted my own work. Don’t get me wrong, having your first job is amazing and is a big accomplishment and helps young adults learn responsibility and money management, But I was ready to have my own Career , brand, business… so my brand FavoredMe comes directly from the Lord. He told me to go to hair school. My great-grandma told me to get involved with hair. One day I started writing in my journal and one of my songs come on. It’s a Gospel Song called “Favoredme” By Hezekiah Walker, I had a little moment, crying and just thinking, I wrote in my journey because God was Speaking to me, I went through a lot at a young age, From becoming a young mom and lots of people doubting me Everything in that song I could definitely relate and feel, God told me to keep the faith and speak life! Now I Own My Own Online Hair Store Thats Moving Forward with Growth!

I learned how to move with God and not with the world. Meaning lots of people didn’t know my accomplishments. I celebrated in peace. I learned to Set my goals with God. Many things I don’t broadcasts because what’s for me is for me. I named my business FavoredmeBundles meaning everything about my business is genuine, honest and full of love because that’s the type of person I am… I knew God FavoredMe, He provided everything I needed. Now my business sell products here in Atlanta Georgia and 13 other states including two other countries… and what favored is , You Won’t know how it happens, It just happens. Things are going Great! we Now have a small private call center, I design wigs as my art and add tax. It’s a joy… But FavoredMe is so much more behind the scenes. We offer private labeling for other upcoming businesses and mentoring for young ladies… I got to where I am today by keeping the faith and believing. A lot of people would say to me but how? what are the steps on how you got to where you are? It’s simple just keep the faith! when people understand that, you’ll see more and more results each day!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Oooh Nooo lol, no smooth road. That’s why I say keep that faith, in anything you are trying to do KEEP THE FAITH, I suffered bad anxiety, it was times I wanted to give up, but God kept pushing me! But I learned sooo much during those challenging times! I learned from obstacles. I learned to SPEAK LIFE, TELL THAT MOUNTAIN TO MOVE, GREATNESS IS WITHIN AND THERE IS NOTHING ON THE OUTSIDE THAT CAN HOLD YOU BACK. I changed my mindset during bumpy roads. When you have a strong mindset, anything is possible. I had to know and understand that. And once I did, the road became easier and fulfilling. I AM thankful for my struggles, They made me The woman Who I am Today !

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
What I do is run a beauty line, My business is expanding to services for women with hopes & dreams of becoming! We have support teams for teenage girls. We have seasonal teen ambassadors where we give them free products, All while they are learning and helping expose Favoredme They are too Getting exposure. lots of young girls want to start lash businesses hair and nail businesses. So we push them to go after their dream… We just recently relaunched this year of January and I am proud of Our Accomplishments! We offer Top Quality Products, free webinars for women who look to start their own business or becoming whatever it is They would like to become, how do we do that ? by teaching what I’ve learned along my journey ! I’m known for giving, when you give in silence God will provide Out loud. trust me! Soon half of my business will become nonprofit. That’s what set me aside from others I honestly love giving I didn’t know the power Giving had behind it until God started giving and showing me things. One day I Purchased my dream car and didn’t even know I could afford it yet, I used to say, “to drive that kind of car I’ll need to make high payments” “ Or have Wonderful Credit “ lol, I was blessed To have made such a big purchase. I was shocked. I just recently moved into a great environment and I was also shocked, Because I used to believe I would be stuck all my life and boy was I wrong, God had other plans for My Family and I. it’s a joy, I set my goals. move at my own pace. I’m appreciative. I understand that the clients and customers who shop and Support Favoredme are for me. That is what set me aside because I don’t chase more or fam. I WANT AND GOT EXACTLY WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR ME AND THE PEOPLE WHO SURROUND ME😊

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My great-grandma Annie P Hawkins. She taught me how to be strong and To keep going. She Lead Us by example! She played a major role in my life. Rest My Grandma soul. She would always say “TAKE IT ONE DAY AT A TIME”
